This is getting ridiculous. The dark diamonds needed are getting higher and higher while it feels like the supply is getting scarcer and scarcer. By the time they’re even available they aren’t worth it anymore. I realize they want to create value for krakens but it’s gotten to the point where dark diamonds feel completely irrelevant to most of the player base.

2 quick notes, firstly I agree with you on the premise. I'll say, firstly that the diamonds being made available is really really staggered for these characters. And as my second point, if you decide to save for another character, and when Logan is available in 6 months or whatever character that is, we may be able to have this exact same argument. It's very easy to get caught in a perpetual loop of saving for something else unless they change how fast these release, this matters much more with the new stats.

True but I think Logan does way better with stats then sus does and I think it took WAY too long to have sus diamonds in the game

​​@@brandondulom3394You are correct...at the stage that you play. If you're at the top of endgame, regardless of the game mode, it won't make any difference probably. But for many players, like myself, having diamonds on him make a difference. Wether it's in crucible, war, arena, etc... due to the players that you are facing that do not have a roster like you, or someone of your level. I agree that go to 3D is too much, but 2D seems logical to me. For context, i'm a 1380 day player, 68M tcp, doing my first run of DD7

I think all he needs to be at is that 6-7 red star range to function how you’d like him to. Anything below that and he gets picked off really easily, he just needs to be able to survive an opening barrage of damage until he’s able to get the turn meter rewind and safeguard etc going and he is cooking whether he’s at 6-7 red or 3 diamonds. He really doesn’t benefit from diamonds as much as Apoc or Logan do

This video shows that you probably buying every battle pass :-) As a FTP player I have no DPC character at 7 red stars, that has no diamonds, but 17.000 dark diamond credits left. (Apoc and Ultimus have 3 diamonds, BK has 2). So for me it's an easy decision to put my dark diamonds on SuS, because I have nothing else to spend my dark diamonds on. So the advice to not put diamonds on SuS, is only an advice for spenders. FTP players usually don't have enough characters for all their dark diamonds. Because of your good cc strategies I'm ranking high enough to earn a good amount of dark diamonds each season even as a FTP :-)

That’s an interesting problem to have, more dark diamonds than dpc. Hopefully dpc economy can change soon

Couldn't agree more. I got about 15k dd saved and will probably only go 1, maybe 2 on SuS. Apoc and Ultimus(bc he's so cheap) are the only dd toon I've brought up to 3 diamonds so far.

I am taking SuS to 1 diamond, but probably sitting there. But you do make a point that applies to regular diamonds too. Post Ares toons, including reworks, should be getting diamonds. Like LDS or Moon Knight.

Another problem is when diamonds are available for OML, Mephisto, etc, they are no longer apex characters. They should release DPC diamonds faster.

I will think about putting 2nd diamond on him with having 3D apoc, 3D BK, 2D GGC and 3D ultimus already. Only guy I really want to spend on will be OML in the future. But if I didnt have 1D already I would only think about putting 1st diamond on him.

Super Skrull is a good character... I wouldn't say hes the best by any means and the dark promotion diamonds for him are ludicrous in pricing. Old Man Logan at 2 diamonds claps waaay harder then SuS does. And while getting a 1 diamond on SuS would be nice, knowing that the 2 and 3 are so expensive makes me not want to invest in him at all. I can utilize those on up and coming characters that are going to be better statistically hands down in the future.

Don’t even have added red stars on skrull other than the ones you get from DD to begin with and don’t even know when I will at this rate. Dpc economy is a joke and I’d much rather get Logan to 7 than try to take skrull up to 5,6,7

CC rewards are trash. We should be getting gold for winning rounds in CC as well because lets be honest. We all had those opponents that only want to win 1 or 2 fights and they throw. My first Meph opponent i got last week threw his third round and he could have easily beaten me because i had to sack his meph three times.

Let me ask you a question, I just put my first diamond in Apoc, I have Super Skrull at 6 red now working on DD7.. I am top 10 to 15 in my Arena..I spent have Gladiator and Gore at 7 red stars already..Thanos at 6 ..I can't get any higher without Memohisto.. I have about 12k dark diamond credits..should I stop on Apoc..and save them..with how fast I'm progressing? I spend obviously..but also only been playing again after 2 yr break for about 6 or 7 months? Will Apoc..be relevant at this level in 6 months..worth putting 3 diamonds on?

By the same token, is it still worth it to take Apoc from 2 to 3 diamonds? Does the extra diamond really add enough value to justify 6,000 DDCs which could be used to either add two diamonds (with change) to virtually every other existing character, or to add diamonds to a future OML, Mephisto or other?
