Thank you for this AG, I have always wanted to see everybody's different gem abilities. *side note* I've always loved the character comic damage panel changes in the corners. Never seen that one for Hulk with the droopy one-eye open look. I wished they had made this more often in the later games. X-Men: Children Of The Atom and Marvel Super Heroes truly are trailblazers of their time.

Trust me, he and Doctor Doom don't need any abilities, they are both supremely broken, significantly stronger than even the top 3 (Wolverine, Spiderman, Ironman), Thanos does Juggernaut damage while being as fast as Wolverine and Doctor Doom is an incredibly oppressive zoner, who has a ton of priority on both his normal and special attacks and does crazy amounts of chip damage.

Beat it at the arcade in 1995. Got it for PS1 in late 1997 and mastered the game. The Infinity Gems make the game so much fun. This game should've gotten a sequel.

I remember Spider-Man's clone hits were also counting for combo since I was doubling my usual combo and maximum spider was doing 10 hit instead of 5 with him but it has been a long time ago maybe that was console version

Iron Man stealing super gauge is pretty shocking. All these years I never noticed. I knew the soul gem healed him but never knew the reason why it was so special to him but now it makes sense. Because you could be shy on your next Super but if you use soul gem in combination with a couple of hits you can get your super in big combo on top of healing and get a crazy comeback but that would be rare and hard to pull off.

@5:35 The Power Gem used by Spider-Man, Morrigan also has that with Astral Vision in the Darkstalkers games A little off-topic here, but like in Street Fighter 5, each character has two V-Triggers, they function like the Dark Force in Darkstalkers 3, or Vampire Savior, and the Instinct Mode in Killer Instinct In Killer Instinct, what if every character had a second Instinct Mode? For someone like ARIA, as a sentient AI being, ARIA could duplicate herself and place that duplicate behind her opponent, a similar function to Spider-Man here and Morrigan in the Darkstalkers series

Game was made during the comics era when Hulk was in his "Professor Hulk" persona with Banner's mind so his voice is more 'normal'. It was in MvC3 when they remade Hulk to be more brutish and savage persona to fit current comics at the time

Captain America's one should've been the reality gem. Makes more sense to change the reality of his attacks to multi hit over the power gem. Same for Pyslocke, Reality makes more sense to turn her clones real so they can damage. Edit, Bugger it, any ability that does multi hits should've been the reality gem. Why do they think the power gem can do that?

It has been designed in a 4:3 ratio so, even if you want to "remaster" it, you can't just put it in 16:9 because that will break a lot of things, like spacing. But my comment was not about remastering games either. MSH is a 4:3 ratio game, it is perfect like this. It's like people who cut the top and bottom of 4:3 movies, or squish them to have a 16:9 ratio, this is just awful. I might be the first to tell you this but that doesn't mean it is not a serious matter that a lot of people are concerned about. I don't want to be rude but deforming the picture to fit the display into an incorrect ratio just because times have changed and you don't like black borders is just bad. Games, like movies, are art. Please, respect the source material.

Depends in this game you could use each stone once but you could get all six. In MVCI you can only use one stone but as much as you want so far you fill the gauge for it.

For every character it just refills the super meter for a short amount automatically. But for Thanos it does a unique (reverse input state on the character. It is instant and unblockable). But I did not include it because it is not a "Gem Ability", it is one of his 6 Super Moves that requires Super Meter. So it does not count for this video.
