I wouldn’t want to survive it. Imagine how bad it would be. Imagine how God awful the smell would be. Everything around you, anywhere you go, would smell of rotting flesh, feces, decay, etc. Not to mention the different types of beefed up variants. That one zombie is an absolute unit, the one that charges at you and throws cars and stuff. If I encountered that, I might be paralyzed straight up out of fear. It would be a very, very lonely and stinky world…It wouldn’t be something you would want to survive.

You talk a lot of shit about dying light zombie not being creative but unlike your two ''very'' imaginative creation, dying light zombie's mutation are explained and plausible. Not only that but a zombie with a long range attack that can debilitate is pretty much what the toad/spitty boi/spitter is , while the spawn zombie close to himself is pretty much like the screamer/child zombie/snappy boi except that yours doesnt disorient or get the famous cute ''aww'' from your gf before traumatizing her its, therefore spawner is inferior. There is also the technical limitation of the game, not everything you can imagine can be coded into a game with limitation (otherwise id want some shadow of the collosus type of zombie (not realist but potentially fun as fuck). On the other hand the 5+ basic zombie archetype, give a decent amount of design possibility, are fairly balanced, doesnt require a pokedex for your zombie and is a field tested formula that work and is enjoyable. Finally you giving shit to other for not being creative while essentially re-skinning two common zombie archetype and not providing any form of explanation whatsoever on how the human body could acquire such ability. Also you call the zombie that can spawn other zombie Spawner and the one that can shock you is called shockwave (a bit more original but wrong since a shockwave by definition as nothing to do with electricity and more to do with explosive or any other type of object or circumstance that can create a deflagration) btw im probably not gonna answer, arguing on the internet is like kicking you own nut, never fun and at your own risk hope you learn that lesson at some point, its really helpfull.

Don't forget to add that even if someone is as capable as Crane, most city infrastructures are not designed by parkour in mind as a method of getting around. While in Lore Harran might have not been designed for parkour, from a game design standpiont, it was to the very last detail. So even if you had the inhuman video game mobility in real life, you most likely wouldn't have the terrain to support you like it does in game. You'd have buildings far apart from each other, and long wide roads that were designed for cars, but now are occupied by zombie hordes.

I honestly can't see Dying Light 2 baiting us with the "your choices matter" mechanic it's advertising. The game's story is being written by Chris Avellone. This game has got to be one of my favourite zombie games ever, the sheer world building and secrets you can find across the map are awesome, from the large bridge on the edge of the map that you can explore, and the plethora of cool Easter eggs found on both base maps and the dlc map, it’s just so cool! And that doesn’t even cover the badass gameplay. (Sure the story wasn’t the best and the ending “tap this button” type ending was underwhelming, I still found all the progression and content fantastic)

On a more serious note: You wouldnt even be able to easily dispatch a normal zombie. You see people taking out zombies with a simple knife in many shows or games, but a skull doesnt decompose as long as it isnt on the air. Even rotten flesh hinders the rotting. Plus, decomposing a skull takes a long time, because the bone is so thick. Dont even try to pierce a forehead with a knife, you should aim for the eyes or the temple. The back of the head, right where the head is connected to the neck works too. A knife wouldnt even pierce through the thicker skull parts. It is possible, but with much more force. My tip: Use a blunt weapon and crack the skull, use knifes as tools, not as weapons. Or just decapitate the zombie if you want to go with a sword, the neck is relatively easy, as long as you are able to align your hit. Rule of thumb: Blunt weapons are easier to learn and have a much higher impact on the head. a bat works just fine, but something heavier works great. Also: riot armor. It is light enough to run without getting exhausted too fast, but is designed for melee attackers, no matter if weapons or teeth. Steel armor is too loud and too heavy. You are able to run, but not as long. You want to be agile. Also: Prepare for it with food cans, medicine and water (put a black plastic tarp over the water so no seaweed can contamin the water. If you live in a country with access to guns take them, but dont rely on them, you will run out of ammo. If you dont have guns, its better to deal with other people. Get an offroad car with additional gas cans and get out of the city, not by roads or bridges (you did see the movies and how full they are?), but off road. Get to the countryside, preferebly to a colder region, because the zombies cant move that fast. Or an extremly hot region, because the zombies will decompose faster. A last tip: get your cardio up. You will need to run. Not just faster than the next guy, but all of you should be faster than the zombies. Maybe the next guy may save your live in the future.

If it hits where i live i would survive easy... My home is literally like a fortress, with maze like walls and fences, where i produce my own food all year, i have the most weapons arround, there are secreet rooms and other things like that... Everyone i know has some type of martial arts training or armed forces training, many of my friends have some medicine related knowledge... Also, i live in such a small town that even if everyone but my close group(friends and family) were turned, the number of infected would be low enough that by killing 50 a day we would probably clean the whole place in a little bit over a year... Me in particular, i glt some tactical shooting training(single day training... Im no rambo, but i got the basics) i do parkour, im a sanda fighter, ex national champion of soo bahk do, i have a few bikes to move fast during the day, etc... (and to give tou an idea of how small this town is... We only have a handfull of streets... You can count them with the fingers of your hands, then we have a few dirt/sand roads... Most of the town is empty between march and november... Now, the way o think i would survive, is not by fighting... Is by taking advantage that my house is fortified, fortify it even more, produce more food than what i produce right now... And just wait the night at home... Conpletly isolated from the outdide world... If any infected makes their way inside, my martial arts experience would work to drop them down with kicks... The many weapons i have at home would work to finish them off(among the things i have, i have a giant machete that is designed to be used with both hands, many axes, hammers and maces, a few traditional martial arts related weapons, a bunch of dumbells and barbells, there is one 9mm pistol and one hunting rifle that is used to hunt carpinchos(similar to capybara or however its written, its a big ass rat with a weird face) and hogs... And i have enough bottles and glass stuff that i can use to make "molotov like" explosives... Plus, i know how to make alcohol... (basically, ferment almost anything... Then use an alembiq to distill it... Then again... Then again... Etc... Until it is as pure as you want it to be... And i can peoduce my own oil too... Im not sure wich one would be better for molotovs... Also... I think it should be common sense, but in case anyone here wants to throw a molotov... Dont throw it over head... Throw it swinging it sideways... If you go overhead you can set yourself on fire... Be careful...

The complexity of your house turns more into a hindrance when you need to quickly move from one place to the other but instead hav to traverse a maze. There’s a few zombies that stood out from the rest of zombie games 1. Volatiles, only at night do they appear, their weakness balances out their shear strength and endurance, followed by hellish speeds. 2. The mother, she’s the only zombie communicating through telepathy. She cares about the survival of humanity and does whatever needs done, even if you need to activate a nuclear bomb. I’ve never in my gaming experience have ever seen a zombie outwit and surprise humanity with their intelligence, but she definitely takes the cake as one of the most intelligent zombies out there. 3. Bolters, they’re the only zombies that are pacifist to humans, they will run and warn volatiles of your presence. They’re a type of screaming zombie, but added to that they have meaning behind why as they’re key to a possible cure. 4. Zombabies, they’re the only zombies that are literally babies that you gotta snap their necks, if you don’t they will summon runners, giving their lethality a raise compared to other zombies & finally 5. Night hunters. Durable, fast, smart, loud or quiet, creepy, scary, and strong. They are close to the mother, except they wield the wit of her, and replace the care for the human race with the need to hunt and kill you. They are indeed the apex predators of the zombie evolution. They can alert zombies with hazardous bait splattered on the ground or the player, next they can use their environment to their advantage with crazy speed and jump height, followed by incredible strength to bash survivors back into walls and spikes. They’re like volatiles though with the same weakness, but give the person who made him a medal for best zombie, because they deserve it.

I think a lot of people are overlooking one detail that makes dying light impossible to survive in It’s during the start, because the first stage is viral and virals are highly attracted to noise and in the first week you would have thousands of virals running around chasing whatever noise they hear And virals are also excellent climbers and jumpers and if you looked at the summary of what happened at the “Stuffed Turtle”, which was a market turned quarantine zone you would find out how a small group of people ran into there and secured the market the best they could while waiting for help that never came and the broadcasting system attracted a bunch of nearby virals and they quickly found a way inside(most likely they got in through the vents being sussy) and they killed everyone and most of them I assume then left the building So in conclusion during the start you would have to secure all openings and to reduce the risk of virals breaking through your defenses you would have to minimize noise and just pray that your food and water will outlast the viral stage of the outbreak

The zombies that come out of night made me quit the game for 2 days. I unlocked the camaflodge and sneak attack upgrade,and planned to survive the night with it. When the night zombies came out however,one looked at me,and *SAW* me. Saw straight through my camaflodge. When night started I had 150 health and 33 medkits. When I made to a safe house 7 minutes later, I had 4 left.

Fun Fact: regular volatiles/night zombies can’t see through camouflage, but a second variation called the evolved volatile is able to see right through your camouflage, you can see the difference between the two because the evolved volatile is covered in a black armor like material!
