Great video. Yet another example that you shouldn’t over think it. I feel like I’ve stunted my progression in the past because of overthinking too much.

Hey man, I wanted to say thank you so much for making these videos. Sometimes when I hit a creative wall I go back to KZbin to find new creative ideas and technical skill tutorials, you are one of the best. I spent the afternoon checking out your old mastering an arrangement videos and they helped my process more than I can adequately describe with words. So again, thank you. -Rekrypt.

Most of the time what happens is i run out of fx and one shots for call n response that'd specifically fit the vibe im going for.

Try learning how to make the sounds that you're looking for and then you can't get stuck when you run out of samples and presets.

@@BibleStorm true that. I usually use few tools like delays, reverbs, phasers, sometimes gating one shots can also provide new results. But for eg. If you want to sample diva vocals, japanese flutes, saxophone or a riff of some sort which is played in an arppegiated manner, several notes at once. I always get stuck there. For eg. If i want to sample from miles davis album. He's playing so many notes. It gets so hard for my tiny brain

Resampling is your friend if you want to get extra mileage from your sounds, and maintain sonic cohesion across your track.

I kinda get stuck on the arrangement side of my production from time to time. This was very cool to get out of the 4 bar loop zone! Your arrangement skills just make it easier to flow, thanks for sharing them with us. Only thing I really didn´t like about this video was the sponsored Motion Harmonic plug-in, but i get it, since per agreement you have to feature it on your content... I much rather use Shaperbox 3 for movement.

Man, what are they going to come up with next? Some extremely unique plugins out lately. This is a nice way to get more of a tactile interaction with making music, which can usually be quite stale and boring in the box. Thanks for sharing his valuable tool, I have never heard of it before.

Wicked video once again chief! Something I think the younger producers should know is in fact some of the more seasoned of us still get caught in repetitive loops from time to time, not just arranging but with mixing, sound design etc. It helps to have a plan but when you’re trying to be creative it’s often a good idea to just let the track or the sound tell you what needs to happen next. Listening to other music helps to inspire these moves too.

Stranjah. you are the man. but I'm a logic guy. I've been thinking of jumping to Ableton, but I don't know if I want to spend a year getting good at it. how different is your tuts compared to logic. and will your packs work in logic? I really love your beats and sounds that you get.

Sample packs will work. Ableton Kits will not. Every DAW takes some time to adjust but it’s not that hard if you stick with it

While I love this concept, just would rather take that visual modulation concept, but forget about the distortion and just make it for midi cc outs.
