@@kathyhall668 hi Kathy the site takes the payments and automatically unlocks the course. I don't have the functionality for part payments. Best just to do the free KZbin videos until you are in a position to take the course, it will still be available 🙂🙏

In the Studio with Michele Webber on the other hand. I only painted what I wanted this year and only did what I truly was interested in. The result was I had more fun and was happier about my art and my art improved more than I had hoped it would and I even conquered my fear of portraits.

Wow Michele. You packed this video full of great information. I am going to have to watch it again and probably again and again. I’ve been holding myself back from even putting things out to sell so of course I’m not selling. I really need to create a strategy for getting things done. Maybe that’s a good video for you to create. Maybe you already have. Oh this is one of your earlier videos given the number of subscribers you mention. I’m sure you have created something in business strategy by now. You really know your stuff.

Hi Kim, thanks for your comment and for watching. Going forward on this channel I won't be doing as much business/practical stuff, I have moved it on to my Patreon membership site. This week's patreon video is about photographing and scanning work .I know not everyone wants or can afford this, but currently such content does really badly on KZbin and harms my channel growth. I am currently building a new website and will put as much free content on there as I can.

Shipping and packaging videos would be helpful. I also noticed you have a wide price range and free shipping is the shipping included in the price? I don't ship overseas because of the cost. It is also the amount of time it takes a package to get to countries outside of the United States or Canada.

Unfortunately videos such as that do badly on my channel, I do make that sort of video on Patreon. Etsy favours free shipping listings so I am in the process of moving over to free shipping. Usually stuff gets to the US in 10 days to 3 weeks, but I have had an upset US customer today. Turns out that the item I sent has been stuck in customs at a UK airport for 3 weeks, due to a random inspection, so it's not without its dramas. But half my work goes to the US so I need to sell there. :-)

When selling paintings, do you sell better when you have one specific style of painting or a variety of styles?

I kind of think it depends. I think it's easier to build up a facebook or instagram following if you had one style. But if all your work sells through a site such as Etsy and is search led, then chances are people just search for and find the one thing they want and never look at the rest.
