Normally it’s their own internal issue. They’d rather walk away and throw something good in the trash than work on it together. (Normally it’s pretty easy to work on relationship bumps in the road) So it just goes to show you almost feel bad for them. They will continue to do this with their future partners.

I have been experiencing this .. and I can't take it anymore .Pouring , Pouring Pouring and all he does is treat me like I am nothing to him. Yet I know he loves me.. But doesn't say. If he really does love you, knows how to show it, but deliberately chooses not to.. how genuine is that love? 🫂 not trying to hurt your feelings.. just offering an outside perspective. I’d give up on that. These are broken people, but not ones that need empathy & love, because they don’t feel love even when it’s showered onto them like a thunderstorm. Stop trying. They will want that thunderstorm 24/7 but all the while have a storm drain draining it right out of them at the same time. You won’t ever “be enough” for them… but you ARE more than enough on your own. You have so much to give. Don’t waste it on these broken souls. You’re draining yourself in the process ❤❤❤

Its same for me as well. Sometimes her behaviour used to be so mean and rude that I used to sit & think what I am doing. Where the hell this relationship will go. I lost myself trying where I saw she was least bothered. Working together and caring for each other when you are down is the basic. She was so abusive so that she can leave me💔, I tried hard. But, why? For whom? Question is, would she even be there in the long run? A big No. I feel sorry for myself bcoz I was tolerating her just bcoz I love her. Please be patient & ask urself if the efforts u r putting is for the right person, is there reciprocation in general or just to keep you attached. I lost a part of me bcoz of my relationship, I dint get bare minimum. I stayed with a hope that it will change but at the end she left. Dont get played and dont waste ur empathy on people who dont value it. Hope, you will find the right one.

Well, she replaced me and got pregnant by another guy a month after our breakup. I suppose I have dodged the bullet.

I would say this is so true. I am not flawless but I never disrespected her even if she was so rude and abusive. I remained calm and showed love to make it work all the time. It hurts but somewhere these vdos have made me to realise that, how can I make someone provide me bare minimum? Someone, who has no emotional maturity, acts as a todler since she was enabled by her parents for everything, dont know how to behave, stubburn and self centered can never ever truly understand what love actually is. Its 3 months now, flahsbacks makes me sad, but I have tried and exhausted my self respect yet I never hated her. Now, I feel I gave it to the wrong person. But its not so. I am proud of my self for being me all the time, providing all my love and care even if there was little to no reciprocation. She will regret it for sure but I dont expect her to show that she is guilt. I was there all the way, loved her even if she was unlovable. I am all alone yet I must say, she dont know what she has lost due to her ego and carelessness.

Yep. I felt like a ventilator for a patient in the icu towards the end.. the patient… our starving relationship. He was depressed, so I tried to be stronger for both of us for a while. I ended up anxious, worried and down too. Sigh. I’m not a quitter, so if he hadn’t pulled the plug.. how much longer would I have stayed?? He set me free. Been doing the processing and healing. Hasn’t been fun, but I trust that it’s all for the best moving forward 💯
