🕉 Hreem Shreem Each immortal life is perfectly prescribed, given a set period of "time" to play. So trustworthy, such benevolence. Isn't it a wonder! How auspicious, having human birth. An opportunity to Love, be loved and Be Love, which is Natural and inherent. Clearly, We appear Here to Love and Serve. We Love by serving and Serve by Loving... Spontaneously...without attachment, aversion, desire and self-will. Seeing "others" as Self or the Divine is inevitable. How wonderful! Lifetimes to come for the opportunity to Love. Pranams to All.🙏 Shanti Shanti Shantih Hari 🕉 Tat Sat Bhagawan Sri Yogi Ramsuratkumar Arpanam Astu

Jason Gregory I can not say how much I have enjoyed your work in a few short sentences, as well the amount of awakening it has brought to my life. This particular conversation hit home having children in the education field Teaching and Administrative and now Grandchildren both being home schooled and in the public school Institutions. I am very hopeful that there is a shift in the way we have been leading our next Generation. Thank you Again 🙏😊

This is so empowering! I’ve been on this journey over the past year of embracing Taoist principles. So glad I found your channel. This concept of pleasing ourselves and trusting your own inner being has liberated me during the quarantine. Thank you for expanding upon it. Definitely a fan now. Loving how you explain these ancient principles and apply it to our current world.

Jason, I love your videos and want to say thank you. I do want to make a comment as a matter of discussion about Christianity. Yes we are taught that we are sinners but forgiven through Christ. I can’t deny that I believe that there is a great deal of control and conformity in Christianity. At the same time I see correlation between becoming a living sacrifice and where You have taught about putting self aside and becoming more pure. Likewise I see the 10 commandments as pointing us to love in a way that isn’t about self….not that everyone sees it that way. I would love to hear your thoughts

Jason, your fireside chats with your wife, are beginning to become a part of my Sunday Morning routine. Does this make me a Confucianism follower or a Taoist? Lol

Haha, of course a Taoist brother. I'm so glad we can be part of your Sunday mornings. Best time for most of us to contemplate.

Great talk and I'm very grateful. It begs the question whether this all suggests getting back to a pre-society status, which at the extreme may have been the world of the hunter-gatherer, arguably they existed a purer life than is now possible, conditioned only by the essentials of food, warmth, raising offspring and not queueing at Tesco. Intriguing to know what their happiness rating was then compared to now.

Hey Jason!!, I love your videos. On a different note, I would like to know what do you think about "37 practices of Bodhisattvas". Or in General a video on Bodhisattvas would be really cool if it comes under the purview of your Channel. As always it has been a braingasmic adventure watching this video. Thank you!!

Haha, "braingasmic," I love it. Making a video on that is long over due. It's all just a matter of timing really. Thank you the gratitude and support my friend.

It is true that our societies have been imparting to everyone what may be called conceptual education which may not develop one's true nature. However, there are some vital differences in the teachings of the original Buddhism from that being taught in Hinduism, Taoism, and Zen Buddhism. There are many commonality between the original and other sects of Buddhism, but one of their difference may be illustrated from quote of the article of Dhamma and Non-duality by Bhikkhu Bodhi as follows: "The teaching of the Buddha as found in the Pali canon does not endorse a philosophy of non-dualism of any variety, nor, I would add, can a non-dualistic perspective be found lying implicit within the Buddha's discourses. At the same time, however, I would not maintain that the Pali Suttas propose dualism, the positing of duality as a metaphysical hypothesis aimed at intellectual assent. I would characterize the Buddha's intent in the Canon as primarily pragmatic rather than speculative, though I would also qualify this by saying that this pragmatism does not operate in a philosophical void but finds its grounding in the nature of actuality as the Buddha penetrated it in his enlightenment. In contrast to the non-dualistic systems, the Buddha's approach does not aim at the discovery of a unifying principle behind or beneath our experience of the world. Instead it takes the concrete fact of living experience, with all its buzzing confusion of contrasts and tensions, as its starting point and framework, within which it attempts to diagnose the central problem at the core of human existence and to offer a way to its solution. Hence the polestar of the Buddhist path is not a final unity but the extinction of suffering, which brings the resolution of the existential dilemma at its most fundamental level." Great video. Agree that many successful men lack self esteem. Your comment on society and validation is also interesting. At 1:07:07, you mention India is wild. Why do you think so ? Of course, India has many dimensions. The metros, cities, town and villages all have their own characteristics. But I am interested to know why you think it is wild.
@JasonGregoryAuthor4 жыл бұрын
It wasn't meant in a negative way. It is a positive thing, such as a forest is wild but natural. On the other hand, other countries resemble a manicured garden but that requires a lot of maintenance and is unnatural. That is what I meant by that. That is a Taoist and Shaiva view of the world. You also need to remember I spend most of my time in India and love the place, so I'm not sure if you noticed that Gayoung and I said it in good humor.
@maheshvarma72224 жыл бұрын
@@JasonGregoryAuthor of course I knew you meant it in a good way. You have stayed in my native place, Tiruvannamalai. Just wanted to know why you said it. Thanks for the clarification.

@@JasonGregoryAuthor India is a wonderful country that caters to a wide variety of people. Epictetus said if you wish to improve and attain stillness, be content and happy to be clueless in lots of worldly matters. Like the useless tree in the video. Success in the material world and happiness/peace are unrelated and are often inversely proportional. I really like your emphasis on moving away from self improvement and rather abide in the self. The paradox is that if you abide in the self and be still, you will be successful as you are in the flow, but you are unaffected by success or failure. Thanks for the video. One learns a lot.

I don't quite understand my friend. I have one short video a week. Why don't you watch those videos? Also, I create content to dive deep into topics and podcast format is good for this. I will continue to create what I want and if people don't have time then I'm fine with that.
