It's fascinating to see how different artists use similar techniques to radically different effect. You got me thinking about intentional voice cracking that's used in yodelling. I've been listening to Caroline Polachek and Kristin Hayter and I'm astounded by how, despite doing essentially the same thing with their voices, Caroline sounds like a cool sexy robot and Kristin sounds like a demon in eternal torment (the recent I Will Be With You Always is a great example).

I've tried to crack less but i can't and it makes me less confident when singing

I'm arriving late to singing. I've always hidden my low range voice but now I've reclaimed it.. I don't know how to use it. In life in fairly confident... uuntil folks are watching me :-/ any advice on low tone singing would be much appreciated
