I've been using Logic since the Emagic days, sometime in 2000, and I know it really well. Even weeks I'm doing video editing or design I'm still in it 20... 30... 40 hours. And in EVERY SINGLE ONE of your' videos Chris, there's ALWAYS something gamechanging to learn. Like, I'm ashamed I don't know about Arrangement Markers, because they are exactly what I need to be using to finally arrange and finish up the 15-20 or so tracks stinking up my hard drive. This 30-day series is fricken great! Thanks so much!

What is the purpose under the Arrangement Automation tab (Same tab used for suspend in your video) for 'Arrangement Marker Sets"? It seems it lets you create duplicate arrangement marker arrangements (like versioning of arrangements) but when you try to switch between the different sets via the same tab the only things that happens is the Arrangement Markers change but none of the regions underneath do. I don't get it, it seems like a lost opportunity to have a great multiple arrangements version system or a bug. Liked this video very much though. Thank you for making them available.

Also, you can press Alt + G to disable Markers, Signature and Tempo so you can have just the Arrangement tabs open. I've personally always preferred it over the markers and still haven't found a good enough reason to change my workflow.

Brilliant! This video helps me so much!! I think I have discovered a potential "hazard" to using Arrangement tracks. Would be able to create a tutorial reviewing how beat maps are affected by Arrangement and Marker tracks? I have been having issues with events being displaced in strange ways when adding beat maps, especially when there is an existing Arrangement track. Also, a tutorial on Beat Mapping would be greatly appreciated!! I could not find anything in you channel.

Thank you very much for this. I renamed my regions, created markers from them, then converted the markers to arrangement markers. Now for the hard part. I have multiple arrangement markers that I want to copy and move elsewhere as a group. But I can't seem to select more than one arrangement marker at a time. How do I/can I select multiple arrangement markers at once without having to combine them into a single arrangement marker then re-split them once I've moved (or copied) them? Is this even possible?

Is there honestly no way to put a pin or a "Marker" on an individual track much like Premiere Pro does? Like a little "hey, remember you did something neat here" kind of thing???

Arrangement markers are great but they can fuck up shit. For example: When you have automation on aux returns or stems or track stacks and then rearrange, automation doesn't always get carried over correctly. Did anybody find a way to make this work consistently?

Thank you. I tried to learn how to create & use the LPX markers a couple of years ago, but I got frustrated and blew it off. I knew I had to learn it, and this video is like gold for me. just to share a constructive opinion about this.. I think we should always praise the rappers that are brave enough to raise the bar of accessible vocabulary and concepts, instead of worrying about elitism. A lot of people like aesop rock, milo/r.a.p. ferreira, even MF Doom, have gotten flak for rhyming "over the heads" of certain listeners. but I credit so many lyricists for motivating my own mental and emotional growth, so I think it's important that we respect. No diss! just think a lot of the greatest poets are the ones that make ya reach for the dictionary or encyclopedia

UHHHHH...so...uh....this was FANTASTIC! Love the explanation. I saw this to find answers to OTHER questions about arrangement markers. Im so glad I saw this. What about using MARKERS as a place to write lyrics or at least the cues...or actual chord changes. Thoughts?
