Yo, many of the bands that later got a bit over commercial had some brilliant first minor hits. Not only H17, Boomtown Rats had Banana Republic, Spandau Ballet Chant No 1 (Thinking of that title, would it have inspired Blur for Song #2?) Simple Minds even, now mostly remembered for Don't you forget, Waterfront and belfast child, but their early albums are killer, and why play come in/out rain if you have nuggets like Promised you a Miracle or New Gold Dream. The latter chorus says it all _81 82 83 84_
