Billy Godfrey was better and can sing one oktave higher than Kelly. Billy was the real superstar !

Im Sheffield and these guys along with the Human league and ABC put us on the map of music great times im 58 and lived it for real, later we had pulp ,Deff leopard we have also made the artic monkeys MADE IN SHEFFIELD a sign of quality

as a kid, a member of Heaven 17 fan club 'H17 Plan' gutted at the time the band declined live gigs. They would have increased their following massively if they had gone live. P.s I was a huge Glenn Gregory fan spending all my pocket money on every 7 and 12inch, and believe me, they were a hell of a lot of remixes on vinyl! 😮. I was broke!

Carol Kenyon, the singer on the original recording is black 😂🤷🏾‍♂️ She’s got quite a list of credits, but she’s definitely not the very exceptional Kelly Barnes who’s singing on this live version 👍🏿
