i love the vision , this that they have pulled. truly a game changing for sports industry specifically for cricket industry and for the economics of nepal. we have such chance of getting big in cricket i see this happening. the tourism pull it will create, social media boom fan culture. i wish somehow they try make it like bigger leagues, better stadiums, home stadiums for each team in their city this will increase the domestic tourism plus fan culture and audience will just pour. i hear govt has the budget also for stadiums and sports overall,wonder how they are not building anything ??

I wish they could have continued every year with larger duration for matches and more of a teams with Different divisions in the league, which would promote the large number of teams to grow ultimately helping the national team to have greater talent.

Would be zero surprise if IPL, BBL, CBL owners want a peice of this pie. They would have to hook up with one of the Frinchises. If I am not mistaken one UAE based investor already partnering with Pokhara. Foreign owners may get much less return compared to those big leagues, but the huge fan-base means they will have high value co-branding with Nepal Franchises. Look at those other associate leagues, they have all the money in the world, bring in biggest of the big players, such as MLC of US, ILT of UAE, but even in the finals and semifinal there are hardly few hundred people in those world class stadiums. Here we have 20K+ audience on the freaking bare ground and millions on phone and TV. Money can't buy fan-base!
