Whyt Manga I want to see the old apple black
@jonahmudlaff65767 жыл бұрын
I want to write my own manga to increase my drawing skills, I have a good idea that i'm dying to get drawn on paper. After watching this I got discouraged, not that the video was bad, but that the art was so good and the story was very refined. I'm worried on how to start, is there anyway I can contact you or can you give me some tips and tricks about starting off? I just need some help to get going.
@thebishopofbathandwells55587 жыл бұрын
Just be consistent drawing your mc and characters (draw them over and over again ) so that they wont look sloppy and different in every panel. And like your first pages are gonna suck like real hard, but that doesn't mean it's always gonna suck just keep working and you'll get just as good or even better as him. I wish you good luck with your comic.

Thanks man I appreciate the feedback. Ill get working on that right away. I agree that repetition is a good way to get started. thanks again!

@kurousagi13397 жыл бұрын
It's the thought of calling your art trash that pushes you further to perfect your art. I mean if you're "perfect" then there's no need to improve. I don't think you should ever be perfect. There's always new ways to better and improve your art. People who stagnate tend to lead themselves to ruin without knowing it. So pretty much you are complete and utter trash and forever will be. But you can be potato if you practice. All these "talented" artists got good from practicing one way or another. So yeh.

Hey. I'm a guy who dreams of becoming a writer one day. For now I doodle my ideas, but I feel I'm not the best. I draw nice, but complex things such as full body, movement, I just can't do. What could I do to hone my craft?
@warlordera54097 жыл бұрын
XxIMPERIALxx1 Just keep practicing and draw a little everyday, even if it's a doodle and ugly.

I really like this series of what you would change, it showed a lot of your thought process during the making of your comic, you gave so many tips that makes sense, I was already inclined to commit a lot of the mistakes you were doing when you started without even noticing. Thank you for this, I think you have more knowledge over the craft than you may think you have. If you accept suggestions, I really would like to know how you choose the shape of your panel during an action scene, are you just randomly creative at it? Like anything goes? Or do you have a thought process on how or why to crop it in a certain shape for certain movements? My comic is also action, but I have never drawn an action plot before and I feel all my commonly square/retangle panels are not supporting the dynamism very well. I tried to do those "slanted panels" I see in shounen, but mine looks a bit forced up, I think I'm not applying them very wisely.

Can you please do a video where you go more into depth about how to not make "bleeding" page mistakes? I'm still worried about making a mistake like that when it can be so easily fix when understood 😅

When you draw the comics, you scan it onto your PC to do any final edits, etc. Then, you re-print it out.
