I'm in the process of setting up my room, & one of my first steps, tech wise was getting a good wifi coverage. The ther bedroom has a wifi connection (Airtel broadband) but it doesn't cover mine. O thought of everything, from wifi extenders, a mesh wifi system getting a second broadband connection (airtel or jio fiber) but ultimately I thought it would be easier & quicker to just use a sim card for wifi. I have a Jio sim but wasn't too happy with the JioFi device or Jio dongle (which is overpriced & had years old technology) so I finally thought of getting a 4G router, one that accepts a sim card. After much research, I settled on the Huawei router. Even though it's around double the price of a Jio device or a Jio dongle, it's more streamlined, has better technology & is safer. I've been using it for a week now & am quite pleased with the speeds I'm getting. I think it's an excellent alternative to JioFi & yes it will work with any nano sim card (I also tested it with my main sim card which is Airtel and it worked wonderfully, but the 4G speeds on Jio are better in my area).

Hi! Yes this needs to be connected to power to work. If you're having power cut issues, check this device from the same brand. geni.us/mobifi This has an inbuilt battery. Some people bought it after watching the video and seem to be happy with it.

We don't have power cuts here so can't fully advise but in my experience, no. As long as it's plugged in, when the power comes back it will start on it's own. Like most routers it would take a minute or two to get the signal back but that's it.

@@bishalbiswas9865 yes there is, Vi postpaid sim with 699 plan give truly unlimited data.. i use over 1900GB every month and it never slows down and bill is 824 every month.. i get much better speed in same network compared to VI prepaid or Jio.. average speed here in punjab is 40Mbps in my village about 2KM far from tower.. this plan is great for traveling too

Hello Magali. I have the same router as yours but it is locked in a certain ISP. Your router's default nvram.bak file (default backup config file of your router) is the best remedy to unlock my router's full capacity. It would be a blessing to me if can receive such file ❤️💋😇
