I relate to your enthusiasm. " It's my wife's birthday so i can only fish 3 or 4 hours" had me dead. I can't tell you how familiar that tune sounds. Keep up the good work.

Just caught 2 steelhead in 7 casts in downtown Milwaukee on my BFS setup. 6-feet rod, 6 pound braid, and 8 pound fluoro carbon leader. The second was 10 pounds plus and it went crazy!

I’ve been fishing all my life but up until recently I hadn’t done much trout fishing I decided to take it up at 65 years old it’s never too late right? My nephew turned me on to your videos and it’s fueling the fire. We are in Michigan so there is no lack of trout fishing opportunities. Thanks and keep throwing logs on my fire!!😊

I fish the St Marys river and my best bait has always been a Tube Jig white or brown and a heavy jig its a really cool way and the fish hit them at full speed , thanks for the entertainment im checking out those rods ✌️

I make my own spinners with silver plate blades and sometimes add colored tape to the back, and like the single Siwash hooks for rivers and harbors. They seem to choke the number four with the single hook less often. Best for steelhead has been the silver number four with orange tape. Best for browns has been the gold plate number 4 with chartreuse body and tape. I like the heavy torpedo bodies. Some of the companies that cater musky guys carry those bodies in a variety of colors. All you need is the wire forms, bodies, beads clevises and two pairs of needle nose pliers. Fisherman Shack carries the silver blades, but the gold ones are getting hard to find with the price of gold skyrocketing. Both have more flash than nickel or brass by far.

That was great. Thanks for all the good tips. I fish mostly from shore (and a little from kayak), but I try to apply all the info I can do my fishing. I write this stuff down! Tightest of lines...be well...and Happy Thanksgiving! Frank

Hey EH thanks for another great video. Late (& early) rod in hand near shore or on shore fishing for trout and salmon it doesn't get any better than that! There a so many wonderful harbors from Sheboygan down to Chicago. I've got my boat covered and ready to put away but this made me check the weather for a couple of reasonable days to get out. I've been a subscriber for a long time and never knew you had issues in a heavy chop - that and only 3-4 hours to fish on your wife's BD had me cracking up!
