If only Jerry would have done a little exercise
@davidjordan20118 ай бұрын
Yeah, and he should have eaten much healthier food. The poor food was the driver of his diabetes and eventual heart attack. The heroin and coke certainly didn't do him any good, but it was his shitty diet that directly killed him. Regarding Jerry needing to have exercised more, a famous basketball player, Bill Walton, who was a huge Deadhead starting in high school and well before his professional career, and who in time became a friend of Jerry's and the entire band, said that Jerry was about the least athletic person anyone could imagine. And, all he had to do was take a brisk walk most days!

@@davidjordan2011 he did like scuba diving
@davidjordan20118 ай бұрын
@@gratefuljrThat's certainly better than nothing, but likely not very strenuous, likely too gentle. If I had been a friend of his or his personal trainer, I'd have recommended hiking, starting with short distances and an easy pace working up to longer distances and to as strenuous a pace as he could manage. And come to think of it, cutting all the crap out of his diet. And come to think of something else, like maybe a recovery program?

Hey Bob, wishing for you continued inspiration and joy. Nothing and no one is perfect (myself being an excellent example...) though for many you have been a great, dynamic source of wealth and richness that goes light years beyond money and stuff. All the while you've remained true to some extraordinary and beautiful vision of what you've seen existing outside of time. The mythic, radiant ether we all spring from, and return to; the giver of every gift, the teller of every story. A life so well lived. Love you brother. Always grateful, Mark G....

Bobby weir looks about his dead as the grateful Dead is he needs to really go home and take it easy the music is really suffering so badly the level of energy is kind of reminds me of being out of funeral it's not like him at all I just think he's completely worn out and he needs to rest man to take some time off to really give himself a chance to rest man the old man look doesn't become him maybe it's time to shave Bob and go to Hawaii or somewhere where you could relax for about 6 months don't do anything and then hit the road and I guarantee you man that you'll come back with some energy because you know what I've seen a few of your shows and to say that I was disappointed would be an understatement I would say that like I said it was like attending a funeral and you know what I don't go to funerals that's why I'm not coming to see more watching you play reminds me of a funeral man and I don't do funerals get your act together Bob and get some rest and then come back with a vengeance
