Beautiful, and great to hear feeling and soul being poured into this instrument, that so often is ridiculed for lacking that. This performance is to my mind like many, proof that its the spirit of the musician that shines no matter whether its through acoustic or digital means. Thanks for sharing this! Gone into my favourites

I have listened to this way too many times as I play EWI and piano (and sax). This version gives me the weebie jeebies. So good. Thanks for all the time you put into the project! The changes in dynamics and the patch and octave used on the EWI are perfect. Chapeau Alistair!

Alistair is absolutely phenomenal, with his lesson I have learned to play an Akai 5000 at the age of 84, after 55 years of not playing anything (ex-sax player) .I owe it all to Alistair. Sam P.

Simply superb; best cover version of this Jimmy Webb classic; Alistair is exquisite in his handling of the Akai EWI; I’ve watched this so many times tirelessly, and each time I felt it was my first

I recently saw a guy playing EWI with a street rapper and singer in Oxford and was intrigued to find out more - I'm stunned by how beautifully inventive yet legato your playing is on this mindblowing instrument. Please do more!

HOLY! That is beautiful, Alistair! I subscribed to your lessons but never heard you actually play the EWI 4000s till now. I love this song (been playing it on guitar). Looks like you recorded the Roland piano into Logic and recorded the melody over it. Boy you can really convey some passion and longing with your horn. I aim to give people the kind of pleasure I got listening to this. Kudos.

Alistair, this is absolutely amazing. A really great interpretation of that old country song with a very special vibe. I listened to it now more than 30 times. I also bought the EWI5000 which is unfortunately not capable to produce such powerful synth sounds with the wonderful filter modulation. But anyhow, I love that instrument, beside playing piano I can now play almost Sax like with my advanced recorder skills, a small dream came true. The lineman sounds also great with program 03 with a little bit of reverb and a lot of delay.

Such a beautiful rendition for this tune, so heart felt and emotional! Can't get enough of this. To be honest your performance inspired me to get back to my childhood music origins of clarinet playing. I bought Roland Aerophone AE-20 to learn this peace. Is there any chance to get music score for piano and synth parts. I transcribed bass and solo parts myself. Thanks a lot for your yt content on digital wind synths and your amazing performances.
@isax.academy2 ай бұрын
Hi there. So glad you were inspired. I’m afraid I don’t have a written out score of the parts for this. It was played live and there was no score. Good luck with your Aerophone.
