I am really looking forward to Nosferatu, so jealous that you got to go to that event George and meet some of the cast! Too bad it releases on Christmas day and I will have to wait until after the holiday to watch it.. ah well, it will be worth the wait, I'm sure.

robbie is truly a king! i've already seen the movie and it's beyond incredible! it's different from any biopic - yes you have drugs, alcohol and woman BUT the way the are showing it here is amazing and heartbreaking. robbie doesn't shy away from the truth. he lay it out and doesn't sugarcoat it. i loved the movie! and even me as a fan, learned some new things about him. it's truly a movie that anyone can watch. you don't really needs to know about robbie - you can go blind and still enjoy it. the movie touches subjects and approaches that other biopics never thought about. robbie is a real man who really likes the truth, even if he comes out a a a-hole. the movie is raw, honest, funny, heartbreaking and heartwarming. i think any one of us can take something from this film. so many lessons to learn. it's safe to say that i absolutely enjoyed every second of it and can't wait to watch it again! ps: can't wait see robbie on tour next year! already got my ticket!

Been a bit obsessed with wicked recently. I’ve never seen the musical. (Little nit pick, wicked is actually based on the 1995 book ‘wicked’ which is obviously a prequel of the wizard of oz). One thing in my internet deep dive recently made me realise that the character Elpheba in wicked has only have been played by two black women. Erivo will no doubt become the definitive version of the character in tandem with Menzel, the other and the first was Alexia Khadime who played the character in the west end production. Which I find bizarre because the character deals with so much racism! Anyway I thought the film was brilliant and the super sharp, high key commercial look of the film has been the first of its kind where I kind of loved the look, it made sense to me, similar to Barbie that look kind of made sense. Anyway good discussion, enjoying the pod.

Field of Dreams is one of the best movies ever! It’s a fable, obviously, about a generational wall of understanding between the post war generation and the once idealistic baby boomers. It could be cheesy, but the filmmaking is so wonderful. Great James Horner score. But then, I love baseball and it works much better as a film if you already have that attachment to the history of the sport. Wicked was a disgrace. It looked like a k-pop video or like Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland. Why do people like this visual style??? Overlit, hideous fluorescent backlight on everything. The og Wizard of Oz still looks fantastic. The only good thing about Wicked was the songs. Love your show!
