Lol Sweet! The hole is a reservoir for water for the field. It’s just used kinda as a bowl to store water, but it makes a grate bash spot!!

What fuel do you run? And is that a 2.5r?

I run traxxas fuel. Yeah it’s a 2.5, it absolutely shreds!!

Nice I just realized I have a 2.5r I guess there a little different then the 2.5. And I’ve been debating running bones fuel instead of traxxas, I heard it’s much better but haven’t tried it yet

@@jayf2487 yeah for me the traxxas fuel does it’s job, but I have never ran bone brew so I can say it’s any better or worse. The 2.5r is different, much more different than just a blue head. From what I understand it’s got different porting to bring in more air and make more power.

The 2.5r is indeed only the blue head! Go watch the Bug 404 for video proof, he's disassembled many of these engines on his channel and rebuilt them as well. Traxxas be fooling you by telling you you there's a difference. I believe that you may have the os 11k carb already, but if you add the 3.3 crankshaft to the 2.5 it wakes it quite a bit more! I have 2 with the crankshaft mods and it feels nearly as good as a 3.3 in stock form! ❤🙂​@GoFastRC

For your dads tmaxx he prolly just need to tighten the high speed needle. He need to titghten the brass piece at the bottom of the high speed needle. Because sometimes mines come loose

I think you might be clean your carburator, and retune all of the needles. Maybe clean the hole engine.

The engine is honestly toast. My dad ordered a new one. The engine got way to hot one time (Im talking 400 degrees f) when we were running with 5th scales, so we couldn’t hear it. But we appreciate all of the help!!

@@GoFastRC Maybe with some new seals the engine will be able to run normal. I have 2 3.3 and my uncle burned one up a litle, but after it still ran fine, until it snapped the rod😅

Something is going on if you have to keep changing glo plugs. I’ve never changed mine out and it still runs. They should last longer than that bro. Maybe too much fuel? And it’s fouling it out maybe I’m not sure

Glow plugs don't go out from being to rich. That only helps the plug last longer. being to lean will kill the plug extremely fast.

That’s sick!! The tmaxx classic is a really good option. Also the nitro slash or rustler is a really good option to if the tmaxxs are out of budget.
