Lucy’s Glinda i think might be my favourite British Glinda. As a singer it’s not often you come across truly great sopranos with classical technique in musical theatre. You get very good belters. But this role requires classical technique and you can see she has it by how she pronounces all her phrases the vowls are just so open and annotated. Everything is so clear. Very very good job.

On show night the understudy is standing off stage in full green makeup, in case they are needed at a moments notice. Imagine doing that job or the makeup.

First saw Wicked age 9 and saw it again earlier this year age 24. I only realised when I looked it up recently but I saw Alexia this year and (assuming there wasn't a cover on) she would have been who I saw age 9, feels weirdly full circle

Such a shame the audio isn’t as good as this when you see the west end production. Saw the show on the 7th June, and the audio was rubbish, no great umph from the orchestra and all central driven vocals, very unbalanced sound!
