Thank you so much for this video. I was trying to put a 32G SD card in my X20 Mini, and it would not take it. What I didn't know was that I had to format the SD card with ExFAT. I copied what you did here in your video and now my X20 Mini accepts the 32G SD card it had previously rejected! I'm so happy i'm not limited to 8G anymore.

For those looking to get one of these , I have tried both X12 and X7. I returned the X12 because it didn't support MAME games. I read on Temu that the X7 did support MAME games. However i have tried many different MAME roms and they do not work even though they work on PC with MAME emulator. It does do NES, GB, GBC games really well. You just put ROMS in to the GAME folder of the internal storage. You don't need SD Card. Then you select Games > Ext-Games. I removed all ROMS that were in the Game folder and put my own ROMS in there as I only wanted specific ROMS to choose from.. I really wanted a handheld that could play the original arcade classics.

I have the same problem. The issue is MAME original files are .zip, while the X7 uses .gk files. I can't seem to find a way to convert to file to let the X7 read them :-/

@@ikarion81 I returned the X7 and purchased an Anbernic RG353M from Temu and it runs everything and is way superior quality.. You should check it out..

I eventually ended up getting the Anbernic 353M although it is more expensive it is of way better quality and comes with MAME support. So would recommend one of these instead if you can afford it..

Well, we're talking about 2 different things, now :D X7 is obviously a sub-optimized gaming console, nice to have a good time with some old-school game. Anbernic has another target for customers. It points to hardcore retrogamer. I'm more of a casual gamer, now that i have a son. Anyway i found that renaming the .ZIP extension into KG may help for some title (probably 1 out of 10, but better than none)@@tazman8487

Old video but wicked it comes with 2 screen protectors so if you pull of the first one there is another. But it look so much better with both screen protectors because they used some screen protectors that are low quality so they make the image look blurry

Mine won't let me play any Sega games period, and PS1 games too. I haven't tried N64 yet but NES, SNES, GB, GBC and GBA games work. Does anyone have any ideas why they won't load? In the product description it says at least Genesis and PS1 games should at least somewhat run on this handheld.

It will only play very specific audio/video codec MP4s. You might need to play around with different kinds to find out which ones work as the details on all the different places that sell these are very basic.

What you can do... - Remove battery ? - Maybe SD card inside loose (if there is a sd card) Some handhelds have second card for the firmware) - If you use second SD cart.. remove this when booting.

Nope .. Tenkaichi wasn't that Game Cube / PS2. For that you should look into more expensive handheld. Most of them Windows Based or just the steam deck.
