Got one of these at a carnival yesterday. Plays pretty flawlessly, and the controller felt good and responsive. My main gripe is that the library is garbage after the Mario, Contra, Double Dragon, and Turtle games. I wanted to see Castlevania, Zelda, and more Megaman titles (only had 3 and 4).

I have a version of this with 620 games. About half of them are bad Famicom games. Some games crash, and some are unplayable because they have Japanese text. One game I liked was Kung Fu 2 which was not released in North America. It's playable even if you can't read Japanese.

Really depends on who's buying, I didn't buy the legit NES classic because it doesn't have Golf. The knock off one I bought for 10 bucks has a legit copy of NES Golf 1985. Litteraly, all I would play on NES so it was worth every penny. As a bonus it has a playable version of Tetris.

It became a scalper's dream and then a Chinese dream as lot of places are selling these cheap clones for a premium! got my version but after like game 198 they just repeat up to 4 times, I started writing down each game from the on screen and they do not match the the included list on paper. So maybe 200 games before they repeat,

I'm fed up with all these pirated consoles but I understand why they exist. I wish all of my favorite games were either made accessible or released as freeware. I don't collect anything pirated. I'm not going to support criminals. I have added games I own to my systems. It's crazy how much people are selling old game cartridges for that are no longer in print. That's why I think abandonware should be concidered legal if the authors of these games are doing nothing to preserve these games. I have bought what is available digitally and collected minis. Minis are available for a limited time only causing only more pirating.

Exactly. When the NES mini came out a few years ago, I wasn't fast enough to get one and scalpers took over. I wasn't going to pay 2 to 3 times what they were going for on eBay. In 2019 I bought a raspberry pi 3b+, loaded up retropie and thousands of games on there and that was that. 🙂

I won an Original NES classic last month and u won't believe how expensive these things are now I'm not sure exactly how much it was but I know it was at least 200 dollars ,but to be honest it's well worth it this little thing is awesome for me I love it 👍👍great video 👍👍

Well, congrats! l bought mine back in 2016 near launch for about $60 or $80, cant remember, and l abselutely love it. Plays flawless. Same with the SNES Classic mini. Premium products for sure, compared to this cheap bootleg stuff! :D

I purchased one of the original versions of this thing (wired controllers, A/V out, usb cable, and 620 games) and I gotta say this thing is a terrible product. Yeah, it plays "as-is" but these knock off's lack save/storage functions, etc. Not to mention the games are terrible ports. You're better off using a nice Pi board w/HDMI, Wi-Fi, & an SSD. If you want wireless controllers, just get USB/BT dongle controllers (if you're a DIYer, then mod the included ones to be wireless.plenty of tuts out there on the subject).
