I know this is an old video, but my wife just gave me this deck for my birthday. I went to find some videos of people flipping through it because I wanted to see if anybody else had the same reaction as I did. I’m a major history nerd (even though none of my degrees are in history), so I had a fangirl moment when we first flipped through this deck. No one mentions the famous faces among those cards! I mean, Harry Houdini, Harriet Tubman, Sitting Bull (King of Pentacles-the card you drew)…I could go on! I love this deck, and am using it for ancestor work. But yes, the book is only really useful for the blueprint. To read with the deck, I have to go by my Tarot knowledge, intuition, and history knowledge (when applicable)

Now, I'm kind of regretting ordering it. I was really hoping for a more deeper meaning for the cards. It's just nice to see the creator's perspective on the tarot meanings. My deck is supposed to arrive over the weekend. I'll see how I feel and try to connect with it. Thank you so much for this!

I’m curious how did it work out? ❤

I’ve got my copy and it is beautiful and I can see the creator’s focus is on the ancestral blueprint and discovering your own meaning by way of the intuitive connection to your ancestral line. If you are a beginner and love this deck, you can use any Rider Waite Smith based guide book for the meanings🌙🥰💛⚜️

You CAN find any LWB info on the RWS deck all over the internet and in every LWB, so I don't have a problem with that. .

This is my next deck to get. It's not out in the uk until January according to amazon uk. As I'm not a beginner the lack of info in the guide book is just fine with me. I loved the art style.

What I love about this deck is the cards themselves, not only has the artist kept the original rws style but on the cards she also lists the corresponding major arcana and minor arcana associations which helps in truly see much more within the CARDS themselves. I can correlate lessons from both into the one card. It makes the mind suddenly open to all the arcana system.

10:03 example judgement relates to justice and the 2s which speak of balance, sometimes we need spiritual balance within and a honest look with fairness like justice can in order to perceive ourselves and our world appropriately ❤

10:40 the two of cups correlates to justice and judgment, we cannot love other properly if we are off balance not only within ourselves but in how we treat others, and we cannot judge people unless we’ve taken a hard look at ourselves

I'm new at all this, but I am the family genealogist and I am excited about this deck in that respect! I agree that this deck seems to be specifically made for ancestral connection and for that in itself, I love it! I have found one or two layouts/spreads for ancestral messages/connections and think this deck's focus on that area would be perfect for me. Maybe not all the time, but for ancestral/familial connections. Thanks for unboxing this. Glad I caught it so quickly as I just got back into tarot right before Halloween and am just exploring what youtube has and the rest of the internet since I started getting interested in it 20+ years ago right before my mother died. She encouraged me in my witchy ways. :) Thanks.

Oh I love that! Yes, I think this is a great deck specifically for ancestor work

Like you said it's a lost opportunity with the set but I hope they release a more detailed book on how to use it. I am not interested in it but it's not bad of an idea.

I hope so too. I feel like it has a lot of great uses for ancestor work though

I love the vintage photos, they’ve done them justice. Some faces look a bit creepy, but that’s not unusual for old pictures. A really nice deck!

Interesting concept - but I don't like the mix of contemporary staged photos made to look old with the actual old photos. I wish it was all old pictures, or that the creator was better at photoshop

I was really thinking about getting this deck until you went through the guide book. I was wanting to use it for more than just ancestor work and I’m still learning the tarot. This may make me think a little harder before purchasing. I would really like to see the limited edition Seed and the Sickle oracle deck reviewed.

The loved the vintage photos and all around diversity of the with the different lovers cards and the different races and so on. But I’m more of an artsy type person (if that makes sense) so I probably wouldn’t get this deck. Because I’m not that drawn to it. But it was a cool deck nonetheless

Hi! I bought this tarot. I'm not a reader I just read for myself and practice. But I don't know how you use this tarot? It is like any other tarot deck?
@nikrosevca92942 жыл бұрын
You can use any guidebook based on the Rider Waite smith tarot.

I don’t find having a guidebook an issue if you know tarot and are experienced.
