The bombs to free up fodder space and the rain totem to force villagers to do their jobs are going to be game changers for me personally

OMG. The geodes respawning in the same place is going to be so clutch for me. Also had never actually thought about just pausing and switching out the location of whatever thing I need when under siege. I've watched what feels like dozens of tips and tricks vids here on YT and neither of those have ever registered with me. So rad! Oh and turning corn into seeds is so obvious and yet, had I thought of it? Nope. The rain totem to force Marnie to stay the eff at home is also huge! Thanks for gathering all of these for us. You're so rad like that!

I have well over 1k hours in the game and I am surprised at how many tips you have that I haven’t heard of before! I’m most excited about the crop seed prices actually. It never occurred to me that the seeds could be more valuable. Finally I have something better to do with blueberries than painstakingly jam them. XD Also the banana trick is going to be clutch. And the rain totem to open Marnie and Clint’s!

I dont remember seeing tgis on the other videos ive watched of yours, but im always surprised when watching tips and tricks videos (from anyone) that nobody mentions about workshop tables! Its a tip i learnt from a friend. You can buy these from Robin, place chests around it and then put crafting items in the chests. Use the table to craft your items straight away without having to find them and put them in your backpack! This was a game changer for me

Not sure if the Automate mod is the reason, but I discovered by accident that if your on Ginger Island before unlocking the island home, and you built a chest chest and put it where the bin will be, and store things in that chest, the game treats the chest like a sale bin and your saved goodies are sold.

You can also go to the island on rainy days even after you’ve finished the gem bird puzzle-the birds still appear! It’s basically free gems.

I'm also a fan of using a deconstructer to finish Robin's quest. Just make a staircase, pop it in, turn the resulting stone back into a staircase a few times and presto, done.

I want to do the math for the gem birds so here it is There are five possible gems and 4 possible spots That means for the first Pilar there are 5 possible gems, 4 possible gems for pillar 2, 3 gems are possible for the 3rd and the final spot is one of two. This would mean without knowing a single gem bird, you have 5x4x3x2 or 120 possible combinations. If you know one gem bird, then reduce the amount of guesses to 24, removing 96 combinations. Definitely worth waiting for one rainy day to find a bird and then attempting the puzzle.

As someone with 1k+ hours, and plenty of hours wiki-diving and watching videos, I still learnt things. - Did not know 8, 20, or 22. - With 17 I knew the first fish was a guarantee, but I did not know you could hook any fish you'd normally be able to. As it's the tutorial fish, I assumed it limited what you could catch in the same way the training rod does. - With 19 I didn't realize the training rod raised the chance of "not fish" things. I assumed it was still the same overall chance for "fish" or "not fish". - With 35 I knew about the color changing (I like prismatic shards in mine once I can spare them), but didn't realize multiple would cause them to mix it up. Never tried, just assumed it would pick one to use.

I tried to use the tutorial to catch a legendary fish and it didn't work. I learned that it's a majority of fish, but the id number has to be 152 or lower, otherwise it becomes a Sunfish. So no freebie lava eel for us 😔

Wow, the bomb-the-hay trick is a legit game-changer! All my late-game farms have basic coops taking up space somewhere because that was the only way I knew how to pull more hay from the hopper. Not anymore! P.S. Wickedy I'm assuming the sprinklers in the fibre seeds are for decorative purposes? (I thought they needed water at first, but I'm sure that the witch of the valley has that kind of arcane knowledge down pat...but apparently not sure enough not to ask, hehe.) P.P.S. An autopetter in the childrens' bedroom, eh? Love it!

Great video, Ive seen a couple of yours now so I have subbed, just one thing for newer players, Omni geodes being the best is not strictly true, lets say you need one mineral to complete the museum and lets just pick a malachite, you have a greater chance of getting a malachite out of a normal geode then an omni geode, omni geodes (Omni means all for those not aware) means that ALL types of minerals can drop from an omni geode, whereas normal geodes wont drop all types but will drop a third (ish) of the lower tier minerals so if you need a lower tier mineral the odds are about 32 to 1 to get the one you want but as the omni geode can drop all types it about a 60 to 1 chance, these numbers are not accurate as I cant recall the exact odds (check the wiki) but its to give you an idea that a geode that can drop anything will have actually less odds than the geode it would normally be a drop rate in, so malachite wont drop in frozen or magma geodes. Hope this nerdy post makes sense and will be of use. "But omni geodes drop more frequently in skull cavern than X geode in normal mines" Yes, so if you can easily grind omni geodes in skull cavern then try it, otherwise, go to mines for X geode Yep, Omni geodes are the best but if you are chasing one specific mineral, find out whether it drops in geode/frozen/magma and search for them as this will be a bit easier than relying on omni geodes, after the museum is complete they are absolutely the best (but by that stage its likely you will, like me, just throw them in a chest or buy a hat with) I did learn one new thing I hadnt noticed from your video, the sexism!!!
