You know, I'm Seventeen and live in Germany. I had Lots of Problems with my mental health lately, and thought about getting a pet. To take care of something, and see it getting older. And I watched so many videos about reptiles, and the care for them, cause this will be my first reptile. And i feel like a crested gecko is the perfect one for me. Because it just fits me. I love their appearence and their character traits, but I'm very grateful for videos like this, because they REALLY make me think about my decision, and always Show me again, that i will get no other, but a crestie. I really love this Channel and your videos, because you got me into all this. And just preparing myself for getting a a crestie, and prepare an enclosure, makes me feel so happy. It was about 16 inches full grown, brown and tanish in color, had the spiked eyes, and a ridge on the back of it's neck. I'd come home from college and open it's cage and it would climb my arm and hang out on top of my head. Pretty sure it was a male but not positive.

My bf bought me a baby crestie last yr in August during our first reptile show. They were all in bags with a price, different morphs of equal or eveb greater value than the monetary amount written. He was kinda an impusle buy (I dont care for the fact they jump/I hate bugs), but I knew their care & had a suitable tub enclosure (bioactive w/light) at home ready to go. I wasn't fond of him at first due to him jumping. We do have a 1 yr old now, too, so it made me a little anxious handling him. But now that ive done it & seen him calm down, I am starting to love him :) I can't wait to get him an adult enclosure asap, he'll be a lovely display animal when you enter my room.

I don't know how it is these days, but in Feb and March of 2023, I was down to either a ETS or a KBL. I went with the Keel because I just couldn't find juvenile CBB for ETS. I have liked my Keel, but its a little more skittish than an ETS and a little more "skeptical". So it will climb on to me, sometimes, but it will also get flighty in a second and shoot off me to somewhere else. No warning. And if it thinks you're try to pick him up, he'll switch into RoadRunner mode and he's gone. Totally not aggressive at all and fun antics in his enclosure. Maybe I'll revisit an ETS at some point in the future.

Half the time she spends the day in her log. The other half, no idea. Need to make her one that's tall instead of long. She still has her tail too, despite having a lid dropped on it a couple years ago. I can even split fruit with her. Dropped a little piece of ripe banana in her log, turned around and when I looked again it was gone. I think she ate it. Ain't there some mineral bonding bananas do, something that won't impact an animal our size but might a smaller one if ate too often?

I have some of the same trouble choosing my next scaly family member! I would just try to meet some at cons because seeing an animal in person will give you a fully new perspective on them, or watch some more videos about each one and think about how much time and money you have to put into each one, but I'm also a firm believer that when you know you know, is there one of the three that you tend to prefer reading about over the others? Even if it's by a little bit, etc.

Rankin's dragon (pygmy bearded dragon) is a great alternative . Or if you want a bearded dragon but the central bearded dragon is to big for you. Essentially small bearded dragons with pretty much the same character. But more social so cohab very well (they live in small groups in the wild). I started calling him Turd. Would bite the f* out of me and scream bloody murder. I got him from a good local breeder that is well known in our reptile community. He was just naughty all the way around. It took me 2 months to get him to kinda chill out. My niece helped me tame him. She was 11 and loved mine when i had them. She thought he was mine. Had no idea he was hers. She got bit and screamed at too lol. That was a few years ago. Like 5. She still has him. Since you said you have a I think you said it was a tiger morph gecko that you didn't know you could have in your possibilities for breeding and it just came up out of nowhere I mean it's kind of like the crested geckos being thought to be extinct avengers popping up out of nowhere I think you said it's called a tiger morph what if you were to name it after one of the extinct species of tiger? Caspian, Javan or Bali! (I would lean towards Caspian because some people might think you named it after the prince from the Lion the witch and the wardrobe series I believe the most recent movie was called Prince Caspian
