I put a turbo on mine and now I'm doing a full on long block coyote with the 6 spd already attached to the motor, hopefully wiring and packs are p&p. Love the wheels set up!

I have an 01 as well. I still have the factory wheels on her but 245's don't give me any traction concerns yet with just bolt ons. good looking car, keep up the progress. subbed. i'm gonna be doing the infamous intake mani replacement, eibach pro springs with srt koni kit, and also an eldelbrock performance water pump cuz i'm I live in a high heat area. I look forward to seeing more vids of your car, maybe one day I can make a vid of my own that is worthy. only vid I have is under ser20wow, just a quick low exhaust rev (lived on a military base at the time) but just to validate that I do have the car I claim to have.

On my 97... 315 and flip the quad shock is what I did. Worked fine and still has some room. Take the shock off a 335 should fit no problem.

Hey man I know this is an old post but I was gonna do 17x10's on my 96gt vert but some sites say you mite have to modify the exhaust,quad shocks,and even roll the fender and I'm not trying to get into all of that lol. So all you had to do was flip the quads?? Thanks!!

I'm not going to say 100% those are 335's but I remember having 315's on a 10.5 inch rim and being disappointed that they weren't wide enough. The rim plays a huge part in the appearance.

Left wheel isn’t poking and the right one is. Common mustang problem apparently my 2002 does the same thing I had 315s and it fit pretty well except the left side tucked more than the other. Offset spacers and that’s all you can do

It’s not the tire width as much as the wheel offset. Not sure why your left tire looks flush but your right hangs out 3”. That’s the key though. The deeper you tuck them in the more problems people run across. But from my experience and the friends I know they can flush tuck up to a 315 all day long and a 335 with a bit of offset. Anything else is over kill. If you still burning 335s you need a better tire compound

rickyreyes48 it just depends on the brand of tire too when I had a 04 I could only run a 295 Goodyear but with nittos I could run a 315 they have different sizes meaning a 295 good year is the same as a 315 nitto or close to it

Contra TM absolutely no rub with 315, you can rip it around town with no issues, my car was lowered too. 325&335 size tires will run when you turn aggressively.

You should be fine depending on your wheel offset you can supposedly get 345s on these cars

Just because it sits there on 335 doesn’t mean it fits. Go fast around some turns, especially if it you don’t have a pan hard bar which it doesn’t look like you do and you will be rubbing. Mine rubs on 315s but I’m slammed on maximum motorsports coil overs and 18 x 10.5s

To be honest, you'd be better off with a skinnier tire with more sidewall with correct compound and pressure. Sometimes the widest tire isn't the most grip. But what do I know, just a youtube certified tech.

Christo 17 if your car has an IRS, DO NOT change them out for "low profile" irs bolts, grind off however much you need to from the stock ones, they are much much stronger. after shaving the bolt you can run up to a 345 with no worries
