If the grand final was won on merrit, the storm win by a country mile. They have been the most consistent team and the most skillful team all season. On the other hand cleary has hardly played all season due to his shoulder yet the NRL And refs still managed to milk penrith to the top 2. Both teams here have a load of stars though. Storm have Grant, Papenhuyzen, Munster, Hughes, Coates and Warbrick. Penrith have Edwards, To'o, Luai, Cleary, Fisher-Harris, Martin and Yeo. I might have undersold or oversold some, but both teams are stacked.

Your comment doesn't make sense. The refs favoured Cronulla over panthers in the semi... the refs tried everything to keep Cronulla in the game. There were two clear sin bins that weren't called and a legitimate try disallowed for Penrith. When the storm and panthers played before finals, the refs made favourable calls for the storm in particular there was a try for storm where Cleary was obstructed. All things being equal and Cleary manages to stay on the pitch the Panthers will win their fourth straight premiership by 8 points

NAS is a bit of a grub he has that swinging uncontrolled tackling approach. I saw him do the same type of tackle on a Penrith player the last time they played. The guy deserves the suspension. These days you need controlled tackling technique not the reckless approach of NAS.

Hass hip dropped Cleary around the 10th minute, Cleary was injured and got a needle at half time. It took a while to settle and then he won the game. Storm will take out Cleary. King hit him late and high in the '23 prelim and King injured Cleary's shoulder in the second comp game with a tackle Willie Mason called terrible.

Solomona got unjustly suspended thanks to some very dodgy decision making at the Judiciary the Storm lose a huge impact player which gives them less attacking options, tackle busts and offloads, potential forced errors it's pretty big kick in the guts.
