Just a clarification for you WWT, this track unit is actually a Ballast regulator (like a road grader on the track). He pulls up the ballast from the shoulders and sometimes will back plow the stone into the center and then sweep it off the ties. All this is done after the Tamper has surfaced and lined the track. In the winter it is used to sweep out the snow from the switches in the yards, usually. They use snow-blasts too. And on another note lol... not sure if they changed the operating rules or not but moving track units from one place to another should have at least a track foreman with him to flag him across the crossings. We weren't supposed to rely on the crossing gates for protection. Stop Look and cross ")

NS 14M with a couple "hopper surprises"...an XTRA Lease @1:16 (now that's a "first") plus a very "shadowy" CNW car @1:18. That little MOW guy tootling along the mainline @5:30 was a "ballast regulator"...water tanks (on the forward end) to spray the tracks, the spotting feature. Trash hauler M635 was a "barn burner", led by EMD 4532 with a chilling horn show @13:17...DPU mid-train was hammerin'...check out the Halloween "leftover" @15:06...Columbus, here we come!!!" 👌👌👍👍

Looked like a car from a Security Company or Law Enforcement made an abbreviated stop at the tracks and then boomed on across while the crossing arms were on the way down. This is the second time I've seen this as filmed by WWoT.
