This man grew up right around the corner from me. There is a massive vigil and its very hard to walk pass. I'm 32 and to me he was a neighborhood kid. He is the son of Dominican immigrants.. Same as me. My nephew recently became an officer and this is hard to listen to. I pray for all of our officers...especially the ones who mean to strengthen ties with our communities like Officer Rivera did. It's time we let cops do their jobs and get rid of this awful DA.

I am indifferent.... I have seen massacre's from both sides. The only difference is one side get's more support than the other. For civilians its just an ordinary funeral. I wish BLM would show up to a cop's funeral. And i wished cop's would show up and a civilian's funeral to sho support for innocent civilians killed by police. But that would never happen. The first police in America were slave catchers. And it was downhill ever since. So i'm indifferent on this topic. I have seen too much cops do bad things, even with my own eyes. The only sad part is....... P.O. Jason Rivera was one of the good one's. He wasn't from some place in Suffolk County all his life and come to the city to break skulls.
