Same! I think some of the games were to easy. In the sense, you only needed one mistake, and they would fail anyway. But looking back, she didn't deserve the backlash of not being a good mole

thanks for another fun season.... , , , , , , in all seasons i have watched I think this is the first time i had Mole from day one. I was reversed Moled by production as i always assumed they wouldn't make it as obvious to me in the laser tag assignment, plus as i said then i really didn't want a Mole that played the hard of hearing older fumbling type of action. I think the season was saved then by fact i liked most of the contestant, so it was really entertaining. I did hope they would pull a fake out on viewer until the end, but considering i didn't even expect a season at all this was fun. can't believe they had to go with Time tie breaker to get a winner. that is my biggest mole of the season. Great job Rocky and Charlotte

Mol did seem to focus on losing small amounts each time. Though in credit, she did "lose" (ie reject) 2000 from the spinning wheel by having Rocky as her partner. she did guess right which partner to pick

Eén troost, op 21 maart start de Vlaamse originele versie, ik verkies de Vlaamse. Er zijn een paar verschillen. Tot nu toe spelen in de Vlaamse versies bondjes amper tot geen rol, en de presentator staat ook dichter bij de deelnemers, er zijn minder extraatjes (zwarte vrijstelling komt bij ons zelfs niet voor),... Ook doordat het onbekenden zijn (itt de BN'ers), voelt het op één of andere manier familialer, volkser. Ook de opdrachten vind ik in Vlaanderen vaak net iets duidelijker, maar vooral spectaculairder/leuker. En er zijn vaak ook meer plottwisten die goed uitgewerkt zijn. Al bij al voor alle duidelijkheid, Wie is de mol? is zeker niet slecht, in tegenstelling, het is mijn favoriet Nederlands programma, maar wie het nog niet gedaan heeft, kijk eens naar de Vlaamse versie (en zet je erover dat het Vlamingen zijn, dan zie je wat ik bedoel 😉). Ik bezie Wie is de mol? als aperitiefhapje voor de enige echte 'De mol'. Geef het aub een kans, ik denk dat 90% de Vlaamse beter vindt.

Als de kandidaten graag geld uit de pot spelen snap ik t wel dat de mol lekker in de schaduw blijft. Ik vond het juist een hele goede tactiek van de mol om vooral chaos en verkeerde informatie door te geven en de kandidaten lekker hun gang te laten gaan. Dat kandidaten meer gemold hebben (of geld uit de pot hebben gespeeld) valt de kandidaten meer te verwijten ,dan de mol :')

Thanks, Marieke! Great challenges, great candidates this season, but (spoilers) . . . . . . . I think it was a pretty weak mole. Many of the sabotages were pretty obvious to both the viewers and the contestants. Seemed like Renee never really got comfortable in her role. Maybe we were just spoiled with several recent moles that weren't discovered until close to the end. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the season and look forward to the next one. I was also happy to discover Lakshmi's music, which is all in English, and very good! I've had her songs on heavy rotation on my streaming playlist.

Is it just me or the past few series they dont do, show a lot of the home clues during the finale. I always liked seeing them. Just to see how off I had been about whos the mole.

i must say with the little dutch words i have picked up from 12-13 seasons of WIDM and the slightly delayed subtitles at the end, when it got to "the game is over, i enjoyed working with you (looking at camera), The game is over", that i started to feel like this started to sound like a Finale finale. so was relieved when i heard "nieuw seizoen"

I believe Rik the presenter has already talked about WIDM 22 in Dutch outlets, so I'm not too worried. WIDM still gets pretty big ratings. Over 3 million every episode aside from 2 in which there were 2900000 viewers or so.

@@marieamelie. België. De opdrachten zijn cooler (al is dat maar een vage term), gewaagder, spannender. Wat in België niet gebeurt zijn zoals onze noordervrienden het noemen: "bondjes smeden" en ook jokers stelen van de andere kandidaten zoals 2/3j geleden. Dat zou het in BE wel spannender maken. In NL ben ik ook fan van de live bekendmaking. Ik ben gewoon van fan het concept van dit tv-programma. Soaps en series niet meegeteld is De Mol hét beste programma ooit verzonnen.

@@marieamelie. overduidelijk België (en dan niet omdat ik Belg ben, de mol komt trouwens oorspronkelijk van België). De Nederlandse is ook heel goed, maar ik aanzie het eerder als aperitiefje. De Belgische versie is spannender, er zijn zo geen bondjes (wat ik leuker vind, in Nederlandse programma's ligt de focus te vaak daar op), presentator heeft een iets grotere rol (hij is ook familialer met de kandidaten, eet vaak mee,...), extra zaken (zwarte vrijstelling kennen we zelfs niet) hebben een mindere rol, opdrachten/verloop is duidelijker, vaak heel goed uitgewerkte plottwisten, het zijn onbekenden (waardoor ze vaak op één of andere manier menselijker/sympathieker overkomen)... Iets wat aan de Nederlandse versie misschien beter is, is dat de kandidaten zelf de pot bijhouden (itt Vlaanderen). Ook het napraatprogramma (café de mol) vind in leuker dan moltalk, hoewel corona hier nu misschien parten in speelt. Als je het nog nooit hebt bekeken, op 21 maart start het, op VIER kan je gratis account maken. Ik raad het echt aan (en vind nu niet, zoals je nog steeds kinderachtige Belgen /Nederlanders hebt, dat je eigen versie beter is, gewoon omdat het van je land is).

Thank you for taking the time to upload these videos! I discovered WIDM during lockdown so this is my first time watching “live” and I’ve loved every moment of it. . . . . . Rocky and Renee have been my two main suspects since the beginning so this was an exciting final. I’ve been leaning towards Rocky but I did a rewatch this week and made a list of all possible sabotages and clues and when Renee’s list ended up being twice as long as Rocky’s I did a last minute swap on the app and put all my points on Renee instead. I think she did an amazing job and of course congratulations to the well-deserved winner. Rocky played a great game and I love that the winnings will go towards a cause that she loves! Only for the abseiling. Her strategy was to gain Rocky's trust so Rocky would believe her when she said which was which. And then she bet on them going for the exemption but Rocky didn't. And for the game where they eliminated each other she took 1000 euros. Put 500 in the pot and kept 500 from going into the pot. (Although, I think the rest was busy eliminating each other and not going for money really).

one one hand i am proud of myself bc this is the first time i have guessed it (i did it based off feeling i had and one dream where they were de mol). on the other hand, this is also one of my least favourite mols- i don't think their sabotaging was as as daring as other mollen i have seen. like ... i really didnt want them to be it. it took a lot for me to acknowledge that i subconsciously knew it was it. if anything, they didnt even do the dirty work of the pot- that pot was almost the effort of someone else entirely. so like i got it but at what cost. s18 will remain my fave mol- anywho time to binge watch s13

Discussion on winner statement about the money. . . . . . . . one of the other thing that bothered me when i rethink about it is the statement from the Winner that they were there not there for the money and that they just want to stay at all cost for the glory of winning when considering how much to bid, and they would have bid the whole pot. I do think this is something that needs to be addressed, and i hope they remove this bid as much as you want option. In my mind production has do the Mole goal of trying to be as low as possible with Merrell (sp?), i actually don't know what the goal was for this year's mole, except maybe be the most obvious mole ever. I never minded contestant losing a bit of money to appear molish, but in the end the goal as to still be winning some Pot, not just winning, to keep us invested.

I've been saying this for years, but they keep doing it... I think that once the money is in the pot, it's in the pot. Not up for grabs, not to be taken out in a terrible challenge that the winner might have no say in whatsoever. The players put money INTO the pot. The Mole tries to keep it OUT of the pot. That's the game. Shouldn't be any more pot-related shanigans. Especially shouldn't be a situation where the Mole wins E1500 in the very first challenge single-handedly; then after the first player has been eliminated having had no chance whatesoever to guess who the Mole is because who'd suspect a Mole who puts E1500 in the pot, there's an auction challenge where all that money gets taken out again. Like in a certain past season of WIDM that I kinda don't want to even acknowledge exists because it's easily the worst season of The Mole, in any country, ever. (Man, I'm still salty about S16 after all this time.)
