I want others to know that you are speaking so much truth. My marriage is sacred and worth every horrible day, big fight that we've ever had. And it just keeps getting better. You only realize how important your marriage is after decades of being together. 43 years for me.

My great grandmother was an amazing traditional wife, but when second wave feminism became popular in the 1960s it ruined several of the women in my family when it came to their relationships. I was never shown or taught how to be a good wife, I had to reach out to a lady that taught etiquette and she taught me wife skills too.

My husband is like the men you describe as robust and it's amazing to be his wife. I go trough emotions, thoughts, motions... and he's so grounded on himself & our marriage that he just makes more room to cherish me and I cherish him more in return

Omg Mina thank you!!!! As a new wife, this content is gold. I grew up with a single mother and didn't have a lot of (if any) healthy modeling of masculine/feminine polarity in a healthy marriage. To rewire my brain, I've been listening to relationship videos... but you are right, they are all about dating! Marriage and having a family is a whole new thing. Thank you for your generous teachings on marriage, we need this information as a society. 💖

Mina is saving so many relationships! Everyone else is saying things like oh he needs to give you your every wish or dump him, he needs to make x amount or dump him, he needs to be x or dump him. Like rejecting your partner and unnapreciate is the norm now on this extremely selfish time we are living. Social Media portrais "perfect" relationships on pictures and videos, like that's real life... But it's not!

So much wisdom in this one 💕in the Quran, God says about spouses: “They are your garments and you are their garments”. [Surah Baqarah, verse 187] Libas- clothing, shield, covering, garment. You protect, hide the other persons faults from the public, provide relaxation/comfort and beautify your partner. ❤

I think one thing that I'm reading is that your husband does not have to necessarily be your "best friend" or someone who you make jokes and laugh all the time with. Western world cares a lot about the early chemistry/butterflies/best friend etc kind of things to consider if that person is worth marrying. Not sure how to phrase it but that's what I'm learning from Mina - thoughts?

The respect for elders is something I have always held so close to my heart. 💕 I have this new quote on my Quote Board. Taken from a Jane Austen novel I believe that says something to the effect of: "It wasn't particularly good or bad advice. I would never give such advice to someone else. But I don't regret following it because it would have been out of integrity for me to disobey my aunt at that time." And you talking about the 'respect for your family's roles' just hit so deeply inside my heart. Thank you so much for sharing as always.❤

Mina, just finished passport bros. So cute how you geeked over the spiders lmfao. Also, I might unfollow everyone on my TikTok account. I am a music artist and aspire to make savage feminine music that conveys traditional messages and I just feel so discouraged everytime I go on TikTok and see people preaching the opposite but having huge numbers. I need the platform but I don't think I can let it use me anymore. Following certain people that I love and highly respect has destroyed my self-esteem many times. No longer available for it.

Mina, I must say, your discussion on female duplicity really really touched a chord in me because I understand it and I feel like I have that duplicity in me still. I grew up with abandonment issues with a father who prioritized other women and material gains and would abandon me for them and now, when he has integrated back in my life, I find I'm still holding resentment whenever my mother says that I should still love my parents no matter how much shit they put me through and I can't reconcile that with my inner journey and honestly, I must say it's very despairing because I feel like these teachings (throughout my life, actually) taught me to be such a huge people pleaser and it's like my mom wants to keep me in that people pleaser mindset that I'm trying so hard (and progressing slowly, thank God!) to come out of. While I have forgiven and I do love my parents, I still feel like control is being taken away from me. My agency and autonomy is being threatened. I really wish I knew how to reconcile that but honestly, I can't think of a way to. I wrote a private letter to my parents in my journal but it's so hard to up-level in my journey with parents who are determined to keep me down and seemingly in their energetic hold. If anyone can help me get some perspective, I'll really appreciate it.

Ephesians 5:22-27 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Yes. Comparing the divorce rate in a country where the majority of women don’t even know how to read (the literacy rate for females in Pakistan is 48% vs 70% for males as recently as 2022) to a country like the US where women are now outpacing men in education isn’t comparing apples to apples. Who knows how many women in the east would leave if they could guarantee a comfortable life? Sweeping generalizations without understanding or communicating the nuance isn’t good. But extracting her general point and using it to benefit our own personal lives is always a good idea 😊✨

As someone who has never been married, I am learning SO much from you!! I have a question, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this. When it comes to sex, so many men have kinks or fetishes and it’s important to them that that’s incorporated into the relationship. For me, I have desires too, but I am always willing to forgo them for a relationship because we will discover our own mutual pleasures together. What are your thoughts on this?

The notion of not having intimacy until marriage may apply to people that are younger than perhaps 30 years old. They have many years ahead of them to get to know their partner. In the event that two people being in their 40s or 50s, it's imperative that the two understand if they're actually compatible intimately. There's not a lot of years left to have good quality intimacy since things will start to break down or fail as we get older. Also, as hard as it is to say this, many females can rescind intimacy and may have done this already for decades, and no man should enter into a contract relationship where that is even a potential scenario. And therefore, I can attest that waiting until marriage if the couple is beyond say, the 40-year age mark, is a terrible idea. Trust, but verify.
