I wouldn't say it's automatically over. My best friend cheated on his wife in year 2 of their marriage. He called me the day after it happened, and I had never heard him that emotionally distraught. He was so disappointed in himself and confessed to her and their Pastor immediately. They went through counseling at their church for a good period. That was 21 years ago, and they've been great since. However, some people, like this woman, do not care when they cheat or lie. She's been willfully leading a double life. *Cheaters are all the same regardless of gender. A cheater does not care about you, your thoughts, opinions, ideas or feelings regarding their conscious decisions to betray you. Cheaters already know that their decision to cheat could ruin the relationship and they concluded that it was totally worth risking losing the relationship. Cheaters are cowards, sneaking around living a lie, pretending to be someone else (regardless of gender).* *Cheaters should not seek monogamous relationships but we all know honesty is not a cheater’s strong suit. Seek to forgive them and no longer remain with them. Ultimately a cheater should be thankful that you’re simply letting the other person have them instead of being that whiny confrontational “why me?” person or someone who’s lame enough to actually fight with or to remain with an admitted cheater. Cheaters only thrive because the consequences of them cheating aren’t detrimental enough for people to fear being a cheater.*

I'm all for forgiving myself for allowing that to happen, so that I can move on, but having a serious conversation with her is pointless. Sounds like she doesn't want to lose the security of the relationship, but the moment Chad or Tyrone give her tingles, she's on her back with her panties around her ankles and ankles near her ears. She's not wife material. He needs to get out. The vision of marriage the kids will have is this, I should know, I saw it first hand. Trying to keep a man with his cheating wife is making him more beta than he already is. He needs to get self respect, self esteem and self worth, without them, no woman will see any value. Move on dude, she's not worth any effort. Get a divorce, figure out custody and child support, pay the alimony have to, but while your doing all of the BS, she's gone for your life as a partner and wife. Be single for a while, get a hobby, get into the gym, make yourself feel good. She has made her bed, now she can lay in it. If my wife did 1% of the BS yours did, she'd be a single mom real quick.

@@ekaski1 No one said he was on the woman’s side. But within 5 minutes Dr John victim blames by assuming the wife cheated because he pushed her away or that he made her feel unsafe. We never see this energy when a woman calls in about a cheating husband or Boyfriend. We love to absolve women of accountability, even if it’s just a grain of it.

Time to go, she likely will not change and if she does it will be for the short term only. You have two red flags 🚩 of why you should leave but all go back to the broad topic of mistrust. Whether it be financial mistrust or infidelity, she can't be trusted and she will likely continue to hurt you.

I know this will sound terrible but a financial betrayal to me is almost worse than a physical betrayal. After how hard I've worked, to have a spouse potentially wreck through money and make my access to money challenging in the future would give me the worst anxiety.

I dated someone from 19-25 6 years of dating and constant cheating. What I learned from this early mistake in my life was that people can change, but their traits don't. I am so grateful to have gained this wisdom at 25 years old. I worked in beverage distribution in Milwaukee Wi at that time and Big Ray in the warehouse taught me these golden words, "can't turn no Ho into no housewife".

If you are with a person who has committed adultery, you commit adultery every time you're with them.

Yeah but they also tell you if you divorce you are living in adultery. So if you are basing the decision on Christian standards, either way you are effed.
