I've studied the Bible my whole adult life, and the apostle Paul recommends staying single. There's no record of Jesus being married. Jesus did say "what God has joined together, let no man put asunder". Do people ask God who they should marry? Usually not. Most people do whatever they want, and then ask God to get them out of a jam. I say that marriage is holy only if the couple makes it holy. If the marriage in full of hate, abuse and disrespect, then I don't think it's holy at all.

Refusing to take a cheating woman back is NOT about consequences. It is about your self respect. If somebody robs you, steals from you , lies to you, it is about excluding those people from your life. They may promise you the earth , but they will not change. They have zero respect for you and you wont ever get respect from them. A partnership is emotional security, trust and reliability. A cheating person takes all that away.

If you ever find yourself being cheated on, before you confront her, buy new door locks for the whole house. Let her walk the dogs and come back and her key doesn't work. Let her call the cops too. Let them try the key. Claim she's a hooker you once messed with comes around when she's sober too long, looking to sell her services.

That would work if she's not your wife. Here in the US, in most states if she gets mail at your address you can't lock her out, It gets messy quick. NEVER cohabitate.
