We are five years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living

Good morning Neighbors Brad and Deb! Love your videos! We’re on 20 acres here in new harmony. We just purchased our 6th beef cow, so that’s our main focus at the moment. I’m in the market for a new tractor to replace an aging Kubota we got with the farm while I’m still working and can afford it. Looking forward to getting some rain from the storm in the Gulf or as the locals say, Guf! Also looking forward to some heat relief! Ernie and Debi

We're not too far away from getting more into that as we start our home build next year. Tractors are EXPENSIVE anymore....we want to upgrade to a cab so we're still working out how (if) that will happen. Let's hope it's just a little wind and some good rain from the storm! Take care.

My Kubota diesel was a Lemon, over heated all of the time. power would just go away. Two of three spindles lasted less then 50 hours then the dealer agreed with me and bought it back. He had so many Kubota come backs he will no longer sell or service them.

Only because the department of agriculture said “get big or get out” and ruined the small family farm and instituted industrial farming that destroys the soil. If people maximized the reproductivity of their small acreages there would be no need to covet your neighbors land.
