The government didn't say to shut down. They could have church, they just had have 15% of the congregation in the building. SO? Have 2 or 3 services (2 services in the morning and an evening service) to accommodate everyone... like everyone else in the world is doing. This was unnecessary and embarrassing to us Christians. Of course. Much of your religion and all the comments in this thread are based on fear. Fear is how you keep people in line and is the only way your religion has persisted for so long.
@omarperez40103 жыл бұрын
@@lisag4595 Question: "What does it mean to have the fear of God?" Answer: For the unbeliever, the fear of God is the fear of the judgment of God and eternal death, which is eternal separation from God (Luke 12:5; Hebrews 10:31). For the believer, the fear of God is something much different. The believer’s fear is reverence of God. Hebrews 12:28-29 is a good description of this: “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our ’God is a consuming fire.’” This reverence and awe is exactly what the fear of God means for Christians. This is the motivating factor for us to surrender to the Creator of the Universe. There is a difference between a healthy fear of God which is out of love, reverence and respect versus an unhealthy fear of God which is prejudiced and misrepresents His character www.gotquestions.org/fear-God.html

Perhaps some law enforcement people could take a stand as your husband has, risking their jobs and reputation.

I want to caution my fellow Christians that "judge another man's servant", as the Apostle Paul warned. We are called to Love one another, support one another. I tell you the truth, it is easy to judge carnally, but I believe these people are doing their best to be obedient, and it comes at a price. For those who are not willing to forsake yourself for the obedience of the Gospel, the time is coming when the fence-sitters will be forced by the rulers of this world to make a choice. The world system hates Christians. And I applaud James and Erin Coats for "carrying their cross" which many are not willing to do. They will receive glory for their suffering for putting the Gospel and their Love for others above their own safety. Amen! This is the True Gospel that we Love one another the way Christ Loves us. Love your neighbour as yourself.

The historical bad things done by Christians they say was in the name of what God wanted,yes i agreed and when i pointed out the historical and PRESENT day evils of other world wide religions wow! Was i ever put in my place! I found the same at Universal Unitarian Church in Hamilton Ontario where i lived,the negative talk of religion was against Christian religion ONLY.as same in University other religions were either embraced or just accepted so they could appear politically correct and to seem very very accepting of other cultures.its like modern day Christians were all evil and also STUPID and if u are Christian today they act like that means u are for the historical abuse that Nuns and Priests and pastors and doctrine have done and some bad things that still go on,its like the way whites are treated like because i am white i wish i owned slaves or something
