I really wanted to hear more details from Denise and James specifically. Look forward to the other podcast episode and I hope they will get to speak during the entire episode next time.

Once he shows up it’s all about him. He is a super narcissist

I'm so glad you had them back on because I have not missed a single episode since you introduced them to us. Such wonderful nice people they are! I'm only a couple years older than Denise, but looking to retire eventually in another state than NJ where it's just too expensive if your income lessens. Plus we have no children and little to no family to tie us here. We're leaning towards far NE Tennessee, but love hearing about the places SkipTown as been exploring. Although moving to Florida has never been appealing due to the humidity and storm systems, the Villages episode gave me the idea that it may be an option when one of us dies. The activities that place has amazed me! 100 miles of golf cart paths!! I can take it to Target! A polo stadium! I don't agree with some that Bert is a narcissist, my father and previous boss are both covert narcissists, and truly disgusting people who desperately need to put others down in order to feel good about themselves. They revel in the misery of other people. It literally gives them joy when other people have bad things happen in their lives. They lie, cheat and steal, and have no true friends because normal healthy people can't stand them. They intentionally ruin all holidays and special occasions because they love to make others unhappy. Bert is none of these things, and it would be obvious to those of us who have been victims of narcissistic abuse if he were. Lastly, thank you Halston for being a great manager/producer/whatever title you have. I can't listen to Tom and Christina because the staged laughter from the face diapered idiots in "the booth" is too annoying. Tom's weird perversion is, well, too weird. I prefer Bertcast over 2 Bears any day. I don't care if my single opinion doesn't matter. I love LeeAnn and Bert together. You are a super great family.

Glad to hear these guests, I think I may just check out this podcast. My partner is a union electrician and I work remotely...LA is so expensive so we've been considering a move but aren't sure what will suit our lifestyle and work for our jobs. Seems like these two might have some useful info to share!

PS, but if you can, add some large plants between the 2 couches. It would really tie the room together. It just needs some live plants to match the wall paper. Maybe some snake plants too.

Wahoo! OKC is amazing! We actually have a large population of retired military personnel who stay here. They get stationed here and dread coming here, but end up falling in love with it. BIG bang for your buck and middle of the country so easy to get anywhere.

First of all, You look fabulous! Second, I need advice about where to move. I want to move out of LA. I clicked so fast when I read about their journey.

I definitely get what Bert is saying, I find it hard to be all in when it comes to my kid when I have a million other things I’m thinking about and need to be doing around the house etc

15:31 Love you LeeAnn. Ok so about the webbing (I should probably read up on this but its just a quick thought 😊 ) Do you think that because since we're little us girls are raised a certain way that "unlocks" that part of our brain? The part that webs.. & boys are kinda seen like "boys will be boys" and there is more lenience to the way they behave and so that part is just NOT worked out.. Kinda like a muscle? Idk just curious, Im no scientist lol

The best part of Ohio is the amount of places you can drive to in less than 8 hours, also a Youngstown girl, the cost of living is the big plus

My daughter is in her freshman year, visited for Christmas. Tattoo and a nose piercing i`m praying this is all...
@ashleyduckworthyt32242 жыл бұрын
She probably also had sex. Let her live 😅 haha if you taught her well and she still got the tattoo and piercing then it’s probably a good creative decision! You raised her right! Don’t worry too much and try to remember what it was like to be 18/19

How did we phase out "corporal punishment" from not just schools bit parents in what, 30 years? I know I got beat but by time my niece was born, it was taboo so that's somewhere bw 32-12 years ago... However that was stamped out would be great to apply to other soxial issues... was it just shame feom the community if you hit your kids all of a sudden? I'd be curious to know the first metaphorical flap of butterfly Wings that got it started. Would love to stamp out other human behaviors the same way
@powderandpaint142 жыл бұрын
I think that research showed that it was only as effective, if not less, than other non physical forms of punishment for children. So I'm sure the experts in child development/education/early years were starting to say it wasn't necessary.

You should finish the show. LeeAnn corrals him and Denise and James are able to speak more. Bert has a lot of insight of places to live because of his old travel channel days. He's not intentionally rude nor aims to control the show. He just likes to talk about what he knows.

You guys lost me once you got into politics. Please stay out of it, I know it's your podcast and you can say what you want on it but I don't come to listen to this podcast to listen to your politics. I can hear that on other podcasts, talking about life, your family, etc. Talk about that shit somewhere else, please.
