It rarely ever is. There was another case of a husband who suspected his wife of putting bleach in his morning coffee. The police didn't believe him so he installed cameras and caught her. He said it tasted funny so he stopped drinking it, he didn't know how long it was happening for but he knew of it for 6 months and he never got sick from it. He thought she wanted him dead to keep his military benefits. She only got 2 years in jail but will be released before than. No attempted murder charge there either.

My ex used to spend nights gassy, cramping, sometimes diarrhea. He accused me of poisoning him. These incidents usually happened the night before I had something important going on where I needed a good night’s sleep. I knew I wasn’t cooking poorly or poisoning him but it happened a lot over the years. We were visiting his parents one weekend and I walked into the guest room for something. He was in the process of chugging a bottle of prune juice. He looked so guilty!!! I didn’t register anything other than, “That was odd.” The next morning, his mom asked us how we slept the night before. He said, “Oh it was horrible. Something you did to dinner made me really sick. I was on the toilet all night.” 😩 It was the same voice and similar accusations he had made to me for years. I said, “There was nothing wrong with dinner! You were up all night on the toilet because you chugged an entire bottle of prune juice right before bed!!!” 😡 I was SO MAD! He had been hurting himself to blame ME. He was just awful.

He was very smart and I’m so glad that he is alive. She sounds like she threw the big birthday party just to show off. What an evil woman!/Women seem to use poison to harm or unalive others-usually a man. My grandfather was poisoned and he died long ago in the 1920’s. By an unknown woman-NOT my grandmother. My dad was only 7 months old and his brother about 6 or 7 (I’m not sure.) years old. It was during the depression and my grandmother had a neighbor lady who helped with the boys. But my dad never knew his dad nor did any of the rest of us. My dad was born in 1925 and lived to be 82. His brother died a few years earlier. Only one of my dad’s uncles knew who poisoned my grandpa but he never told my dad because he knew my dad would seek revenge-and then he would be arrested. I don’t know why this woman was never prosecuted. My grandpa was a great chef at a prominent Indianapolis hotel. (My dad couldn’t cook at all!) My grandpa was in his 20’s when poisoned. My grandmother died at age 65 of heart disease before there were more modern treatments. I was 6 when she passed away.😢
@RLFinTX

This is awful! I’m guessing she was never prosecuted because they had no evidence or did your grandmother know since her other son know? Speaking of your dad’s brother, if I’m reading this right, was your grandfather in his early teens, like 13 when his first son was born? That must have been so difficult for them and your grandmother. Did your grandmother remarry? Hopefully she didn’t have the neighbor lady over anymore. I’m so sorry, what a tragic loss.

My thought exactly😢 Sadly, the husband could is have some long term health problems. Previous studies on the toxic ingredient of “Round-Up” showed it is carcinogenic it caused large tumors in rats. The photos of the rats from the study are horrific. A little story about my experience with RU: A previous LL I lived next door to for 6 months had a gallon container of Round Up she used in excess in her veggie garden and on the lawn. I didn’t know she was using it until one day I saw her dousing the yard with it, then it made sense why my 4 cats kept getting sick after going outside. Had I known she was spraying Roundup exactly where my cats walked and ate the grass I would NEVER EVER allowed them outside. At the time I knew how toxic Round Up is and that the main ingredient is carcinogenic. A few years later one of my beloved cats died from a long battle with a lung tumor. I’ve been brokenhearted since. Sadly, while I was still living next to the LL, her teen age daughter was diagnosed with a large tumor in her face of all places. At first the doctors said it was just allergies. By the time doctors realized her symptoms were more serious, the tumor had grown to the size of a baseball. The outcome for the LL’s daughter was just terrible. Poor child. Round Up is dangerously toxic and the main reason I eat primarily organic fruit & veggies.

Why do these type of cases typically get very little jail time? it's never the harsher charges such as attempted murder or conspiracy to commit. (definitely reminds me of the lady who put bleach in her husband's coffee to get rid of him and keep his military benefits)

PEOPLE, RESEARCH THE PEOPLE YOU GET INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH! Let me tell you how CRAZY people truly ARE. I was married for 16 years. We separated for a few months, and he met another woman. ( I actually met her and I got physically sick. I didn't know why, I just got nauseous, and I had to leave). They dated, for a couple months. And I filed for divorce.. then we started talking about going to counseling, and working on our marriage, and I agreed. The girl he had started dating , went NUTS, and she shot and killed him, right in front of me. Absolute TRUTH. That. Is CRAZY. Be wary whom you start a relationship with. Please. Please.

Why hasn’t she been charged with attempted murder? Surely this is not just “assault”. … Oh gosh, yes go to the doctor! There might be an antidote!

I knew a guy named David and he asked me to come over one night and he would make dinner. I thought of him only as a friend and I had told him that as well. We were young, like around 24. He had fixed me a glass of white wine (I didn’t see him make it) and we ate dinner. Later I had to get home because I worked early in the morning. He kept begging me to stay and even grabbed my arm really hard. I ripped it away and said I had to leave. Got into my car and left. As soon as I hit the main road just a block or two from his house, I felt like I was seeing double. Thank goodness I didn’t have far to drive. The minute I stepped out of my car, the earth was spinning and I fell to the ground. Crawled to my apartment. I’m not sure why I didn’t call the police. He had given me something and he knew it was about to take affect. Why didn’t I call the police? No telling how many woman he has taken advantage of in the last 28 years. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I can't believe she is not being charged with attempted murder. I do not understand some of these charges on such sinister acts it's obvious what her (alleged) plan was to do, to do away with him omg imo!
