Super controlled and restrained playing by Bozzio. Very nice change of pace.

My first time listening to that track...wow! That was amazing! Gonna have to go read the Kite Runner now. Not many reactors get an old salt to go out and read a book 😁. Thanks again guys...you have such great taste in music.

This was unexpected, and really cool. I didn't even know this album or band existed - so now you're showing interesting music to proggie old farts from the 70's, instead of the other way around. Once again, thank you - your videos just keep getting more and more refreshing. I'm especially surprised, since I've seen all three of these musicians live: Bozzio with UK and Frank Zappa (twice), Levin with David Bowie and Peter Gabriel, and Stevens with Billy Idol. And yes, Steve Stevens is the real surprise here. You mentioned Al Di Meola about thirty seconds after I thought it, so . . . click ! (Has Lex heard "Race With Devil On Spanish Highway?") Looking forward to "Tubular Bells" - good headphones are a real revelation there.

Hi So nice to see you both again. A beautifully blended track with an Interplay of Flamenco and Middle Eastern riffs and Fret Work. A Masterclass of Musical Precision and Virtuosity. I don't ever recall hearing a Flamenco styled Percussion. Love this Song and Lex's Authentic and Astonished Reaction !!! 😍😁😊

Cool, cool, cool. Throwback to a rocking teenage combo that I happened to have totally missed... when y’all get up and running on live video reactions, i highly recommend KC “Frame by Frame” live from 1984. Nice to see Levin playing the Chapman Stick, as well as his pals Bill, Bob, and Adrian.

Beautiful track. I used to own this album back in the day. Great stuff. Stevens' Flamenco influence is surprising. I got to see Terry Bozzio perform his neoclassical suite for drum set on his gargantuan drum kit in 2002. Just him, no band, no accompaniment. A true artist.

Their album Black light Syndrome is really cool. Acoustic and electric mix.☺

Terry Bozzio has the most enormous drum set I've ever seen ( google images of him ), and he set up that monster at the Baked Potato ( a Jazz club the size of a shoebox ). The other musician were nearly falling off the stage. Oh note of interest: Bozzio replaced Bruford on the second U.K. album

Wow! Thanks for sharing this. Seen Bozzio in U.K. and Levin in Stick Men and King Crimson. Never heard of this. I’m gonna have to hunt down an official copy of this. Just fabulous.

Steve Stevens' solo album Flamenco a Go Go is freaking amazing. Like seriously. I would recommend any song but 'Riviera '68' and 'Twilight in Your Hands' are my favorites.

"I'm not gonna talk this time", really, Nick? 😂😉 Nice try! Hats off to Steve Stevens - never would have expected him to be involved in sthg like this! Just to make sure: ELP's "Take a pebble"? 🤓 But seriously: I assume you have heard Shakti with John McLaughlin or 'Friday Night in San Francisco'?!

You know you guys are costing me money (in a good way)... Nick you showed me Gordians Knot (not the Celtic version lol) and I bought it, now you play this and I had to buy it as well. Thanks so much for playing this stuff, I bleed this type of music and now I have 2 new cd's to play. PS: I'm very familiar with the members of this band and I'll buy anything Levin and Bozio do. PS: Terry Bozio was actually in a pop band with his then wife Dale Bozio called Missing Persons, they had 2 or 3 hits back in the eighties, yeah Bozio played new wave pop in the 80's, go figure. as always great job and keep loving each other!

Somehow I've never heard of this group, though I know Tony Levin is awesome, he's worked with an offshoot of Yes (AWBH), Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Bowie, etc. This is really cool, I'll have to listen to more of them.

This was a great track, I want to hear the rest of the music from this album. I love all the alumni from King Crimson. Music with reading: "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick with Peter Gabriel's Passion [the soundtrack from "the Last Temptation of Christ"] playing in the background. You wouldn't think a soundtrack to events 2000 years ago would work with futuristic Sci Fi but it's a great match.

Thanks for covering this. Another favorite of mine from this trio is "Duende": kzbin.info/www/bejne/apDMq3SJo82dZ7M Can I suggest Phil Keaggy? He's a phenomenal guitarist that recently finished a project with Levin called "Bucket List". Here is Keaggy jamming with a looper as a one man band in his studio: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmiyh2aZaaaFhKM
