This song is one of my top five by them. It isn't just about the topics of depression (I haven't smiled in years), which I relate to. It isn't just about the sound/beat (love the muted intro). It isn't just about using clips from the Boys or their live shows. It isn't just about the lines like 'I just wanna feel like any other man' (as a short guy, I can feel this at times). It's all of it at once that makes me like this song so much. So yeah, it makes the top 5 slipknot songs for me.

I know i'm a year out, but watching some reaction videos. The Solway spaceman photos was something that happened there. Look also in the the Martyr of Solway or The Two Margarets. Two women named Margaret were tied to stakes at low tide in the 1600s. I see/hear similarites to both stories

I'm from Mexico. I watched Slipknot on Machaca Fest and I was excited to hear this song live. Saddly, they didn't play it. Saddly this song it's for me one of their best songs they've ever launched and because of the people, they decided to play only a song of the WANYK album, because there were more negative comentaries than positive. And now with the new era and the new album, maybe they'll never play songs from this amazing album like Not Long For This World, Orphan, Red Flag. Maybe this song could be played by the band but I think they Will prefer the classic songs before the new stuff. I hope to see on live songs from the WANYK, specially, Solway Firth. Nice video!

i think solway firth is the closest thing we ever will come to iowa . awesome song and lyrics , heavy as hell. people expekt iowa but they are not the same band or people anymore like they where 20 + years ago - cant expekt more than this from a band that has been on fire for the last 20 years and how much they put in on touring and how they always bring it live

Right off the bat, I wish that I could reply to this video with a video. I have so many words to say about this. To better put this song into perspective: I firmly believe that it is 100% about infidelity. Corey was going through a divorce while writing this album. He does a play on words in the song Nero Forte as well. I just feel like Corey was hurting a lot while writing lyrics for the album and it shows. As an avid consumer of his music, I owe him so much gratitude. He has such a creative way to put how I personally feel into words. Also, just subbed to y’all as well. Great content.
