Didn't have the guts to tell people his wife left him, didn't even have the balls to divorce her after she was away for years. She came back only because she got knocked up and then baby daddy dumped her and since he was still married to her, that gives her an advantage when this gets to court. In a lot of jurisdictions OP would be on the hook for child support since she gave birth while still married. Her saying "I'll forgive you for slamming the door on me" should have lead to the door being slammed on her again. She still has her parents, she can go to them.

When your spouse disappears on you you file a missing person report with the police and find a family law lawyer to fully understand your rights and duties for every possible development of the situation. OP's story shows that he married a user that only considered him a background character/ prop element of her "main character personality". She is a selfish, immature and frankly not very smart toddler in an adult body. OP is a poor judge of character but he is recovering.

There are methods to fixing your fertility issues from supplements to fertility treatments to eating the right things. ( There's a entire list of foods you can eat to increase fertility like lemons, celery, onions, and figs.) Then you have just not doing the deed in any shape, way, or form. Letting your "seed" build up before doing the deed should increase your fertility chances. The biggest last resort is basically turning your skin cells into male reproductive cells. this guy (if it was real) was smart for not doing anything because he knows deep down that she cheated on him (pretty obvious). He waited years just to gain the satisfaction of a cheating partner crawling back to him

It’s ridiculous how people love to put their two cents and say the person that got did wrong needs to help out, yet no one is willing to help out themselves since they so worried about it. Damn I hate the human race 😒

How does it work where he lives? It said "she could have divided him and took half" but aren't they still married? Can't she still take half and more alimony cuz they are married longer? Or did he called her missing like she got kidnapped?

I fell bad for the kid, but that's what happen when the mother isn't "happy"... Hopefully she doesn't fk his life to much, and he doesn't pick a girl like his mom. And good on OP for staying strong, plenty of ways to have kids, just find the right woman, and don't get married without a prenup 👏

Why did he not seek divorce at all? There's clear evidence of infidelity on her side, aka the child, so he may not have to give her literally anything.

This is always the same: there are so many gaps in these stories it’s hard to tell if they are real. Why did he not divorce her for abandonment? What about her job? Did she resign? Brighton that’s in Britain, HOW did she survive in USA? Did she have this baby daddy already lined up when she left? Why didn’t he report her as missing to the police? What happened to her tax returns and who was the owner of the house? Why didn’t they try IV which would have given her a real baby? Or tried surrogacy to experience children

I’d tell her the man she loved was dead. Shattered along with his heart by her betrayal. Then I’d tell her that I was a broken man made from gluing the pieces of the man she betrayed back together and that I wasn’t going to make the same mistake he did by trusting her. Then I’d close the door.

I can't have kids also, so me and my wife adopted 2 kids. Boy and a Girl. I was sad that at first the kids not having my blood, but I got over it quick, cause there are a lot of really cool kids out there stuck in a trash situation. Not the point of the video, but just throwing that out there for anybody else who has "low to no" sperm.

One question comes to mind since they mentioned surrogates. That tells me whenever the story takes place artificial insemination is definitely a thing. Op and his wife just go to a doctor and have him artificially inseminate op wife with his seed I looked it up and it's possible to do that. That way the life gets pregnant and it's Op child

She left after years? What you should have done is filed for divorce using abandonment. A court would have granted you a divorce after a years. She obviously was in contact with her mom and family or the would have been filing a missing persons claim. This would have been an easy case because she wasn’t here to defend herself. It takes seven years before a person can be declared legally dead, she achieved nearly half that. Me personally I would have filed for divorce after a few months. Because unless she can prove she was kidnapped she was dead to me after a few months of no contact.

Cool story bro! I liked all of it except the parts you made up. Which means I didn't actually like any of it. Pro tip: With a story like this, you're supposed to also have moved into a new relationship by the end. Said new relationship is always categorically better in every way than the previous relationship. I have to grade this Creative Writing exercise as an "F," due to weak ending, as well as repetitive fluff that served no purpose other than to extend the story- "getting to read books that had been put off" twice, "the ex turned nasty" twice, et cetera. How did you know she ghosted you, and didn't get killed or something? Why didn't you get the police involved? Did you get divorced in the intervening years? How exactly was the house owned and paid for? No attention to detail, loose plot, just an all around low effort essay.
