Thank you for this video , I'm a new subscriber and new wig wearer and for some reason I thought I needed a $200 wig to slay but synthetic wigs look just as good and in my budget and being natural I like to switched up doing protective styles and this really helped. I also was wondering if you would make a video of the best wigs that you own !
@shiashefawn86998 жыл бұрын
+Rainy Brown (thatfashionfeen) Your welcome! No you don't need a $200 wig especially to start out. I'll be doing a part 2 very soon to go more into detail. Also, Ill have a new wig lookbook posted soon as well, so that should help!

Omg girl thank you SOO much for this video!! My super long thick hair has gotten EXTREMELY damaged and matted this past year, bcus I was bedridden for 7 months after back and hip surgery and complications… So I have decided to just shave it all off this week and start over.. But I need to get a wig, and I know NOTHING about them… So this video helped me so much thank you🥹 I’m SO scared about all of this, so this helped me feel a little more informed. Question tho.. how long can you wear lace front wigs for? And can they be reused?? Because my issue is, I’m a single mom on a budget.. and so I wanna splurge and get a nice human hair wig.. BUT I need something that’s gonna last me awhile.. and look the most natural..

BRILLIANT video with lots of info for newbies like myself who's only started wearing synthetic curly wigs for about three months! I have learned quite a bit in a short amount of time and I'm now considering buying a human hair wig that looks just like my naturel hair. Its quite expensive but long term it will work out financially.

You are so amazing. Thanks for taking so much time to break it all the way down. I just started my wig journey and am absorbing so much info. I've already bought a wig you recommended. The ZURI Sis box braid small 30 inch. I wish you did an install tutorial. I've watched a lot of others but the way your was laid was the best by far. If you are up to doing an install and style vid, I'd be all EYEZ! You are appreciated and admired.

Luv your channel! How do you secure the wig when wearing a wig cap? My wig starts to creep.
@shiashefawn86998 жыл бұрын
+Brigitte Ligons Thank You Brigitte! What kind of cap are you wearing? Also, you may need to adjust the straps to make the wig tighter
@brigitteligons-reed61678 жыл бұрын
I use a stocking cap like the one on your video. The straps are adjusted to the tightest fit but I don't use the combs because they would tear the cap.

I have very very very sensitive hair. I see a lot of people that gel their edges down or part their hair to blend it with a lace wig but everytime I do that it breaks it off and makes my hair thinner. Is there a way to blend the lace on the wig without any babyhair or parting your hair? Thanks.
@shiashefawn86999 жыл бұрын
+Keesha' Renee Hey Keesha, yes you can blend the wig without parting it. Just place the wig at the start of your hair line & make sure your part looks nice & as realistic as possible. Open the part (if its too small ) & Add your finishing powder.

Do you recommend getting a wig sowed on like a sew in!?
@shiashefawn86999 жыл бұрын
It depends on the type of hair. If it's good quality human hair then yes, if it's not so great or synthetic hair then no I wouldn't bother with sewing it on.
