Hey Alan! I’m in Ft Worth. I’m a roofing contractor here and I frequently have large quantities of R-panel metal roofing that is hail dented. We remove it and send it to a recycler. Could you use some fully functional metal roofing? It is good for wall or roof application as long as your structural members are on standard layout. There are fastener holes at the eave, 2.5’, 5’, then every 5’. Just an idea. I’m looking for interesting projects to get involved with and I’d love to help with your fortress.

Geez Alan!! How much work do these people think you should do?!?! What you accomplished up at the fortress in a couple of weekends is phenomenal!! Plus you’ve also been working at Spark’s shop, plus went with the crew to deliver the cabooses to Bozeman, AND helping with the heavy duty work truck!! I figure the people sitting at their keyboards or on their phones telling you you should work on this, or that are just that, keyboard warriors who could never accomplish in a month what you do in a day!! You know what your priorities are and what you need to get done, especially with winter looming, so you just carry on with what you know you need to get done!! Can you do a video with some drawings how you are planning to improve the mountainroad? You have many viewers who specialize in building roads.
