Hi, thank you for your outstanding tutorials! I have some experience with different video editing programs and my main problem is again and again that, while working on a project and adding some effects, playing back does not go smootly but falters. How is that in Hitfilm? I have a fairly powerful pc. Thank you in advance. Best, Jan.

Bit late but i can say that there is still some lag in hitfilm when previewing a complex scene, however if you select the rightmost button on the viewer it will run through the section, allowing you to view it with the same quality it would feature having been exported. The speed it is able to create the preview would be dependant on computer power I believe. Tl;dr yes, when editing in hitfilm there might be lag while previewing, but there is a way you can preview it without lag.

Hi. I have a problem... I cant add effects.. Idk why but i can only add audio. I wanna add the effect called heat distortion but idk how. I have tried pretty much anything to add the effect but i cant get it to work :/ If anyone else has the same problem please let me know! Or if you know how to fix it :D Thanks!
