I have three different Wiggys' bags including the Ultima Thule and I think they're the greatest bags ever - and I use them in Alaska! I have to say I've never once given a thought to the flammability issue. I'm glad someone did.

First off it makes my stomach turn seeing those bags burn, although I know it’s necessary to demonstrate. How on earth has the DoD not adopted these as the STANDARD. It demonstrates what a Bureaucratic mess they are. I own an Ultralite, Superlite and 2 FTRSS over bags. In Vermont owning a +35F overbag and one each of the 0F and 20F gives you comfort/protection down to -40F by utilizing the modular design. Use only the bags you need given the temp. I used different colors to aid in quick ID of the bags (green, black and brown). Can’t say enough. I’ve reprogrammed my thinking on insulation and staying warm. I’ve stopped using vapor barrier membranes and fleeces. Lamilite is truly the warmest insulation I’ve used. Thanks Jerry.

The Navy Seals are issued these for sure. I loved mine! They are also issued to other special forces units as well. They absolutely should issue these to the entire military.

When you put one bag into another, does is need to be a smaller bag that goes in another bag? Or does it matter if they are the same size?
@lakatoyoneАй бұрын
the f t r s s is a flexible temperature range sleep system and that is just two bags that you can use either by itself or they zip in together with the overbag slightly bigger so they fit like a hand in a glove

I would think that your gloves, jackets, leg jackets, and head covers would all act in a similar fashion. Thank you for showing yet another reason why your products are Superior.

IF THEY WERE LAYING FLAT VERSUS VERTICLE AS IS THE CASE WITH CLOTHING THEY WOULD. BUT WHILE WEARING A GARMENT THE VERTICLE FLAME ACTION MAY TAKE OVER.

Thanks for the video! I will be ordering my overbag shortly, and I will assume it will behave the same way! Next, Lamilite socks and fishnet shirt. Best wishes!

While I am glad to see the fire retardant qualities of the Wiggy's bags, but I was even happier to see the fantastic business partnership and friendship that Jerry and Kok seem to have. I also appreciated the slow, relaxed, and unpolished approach to the video. I have grown quite weary of the flashy, rehearsed, assume I have no attention span presentation style that is so common to YT videos, nowadays.

Could you do something about the outer lining for burn proofing so it doesn't burn through to the flame-proof inner lining?

That is amazing.Another reason to go Wiggys! Nate

what is amazing to me is that these testers were sitting for 5 hours in -65 f temp versus moving and were warm enough not to know how cold it was. the Lamilite continuous filament fiber is far better than I have ever known it to be.

Awesome. I'm about to pick up a Wiggys sleeping bag for my lighweight needs. Would you have a suggestion though for a heavier flannel lined sleeping bag/hunting bag? Possibly you know a company that makes those of good quality. I love to have one of these in my car, and have often times used one unzipped as a bed comforter too, so looking for something comfortable/well made and washable. Thank you!

i do not recommend the use of flannel in my bags; period. get any of my hunter modell bags depending upon the temperature you live in.
