OMG this was so much fun! I got to just queen out with a couple of Australian Barbie fans (or are you from New Zealand??) - LOVE it! It was like watching Kath & Kim play Barbies 🤩🤩🤩!!! And I covet your awesome Superstar collection. Everyone probably knows this already but maybe not - Farrah Fawcett was the inspiration for the Superstar Barbie face mold. And Robert Redford was the inspiration for the Superstar Ken face mold.

Eek, try warming the ear area with a hair dryer, poke something a bit bigger than the earring into the hole, then put earing in. Earring may strighten if warmed gently, straighten, then leave to cool

@vanity reason superstar repro isn't same us because due to scammers they couldn't use the superstar mold. They did use it for (Pop Icon Barbie) which is why she cost so much resale

Yeah...these new SuperStar Barbie and Christie repros just don't compare to the originals. I got one of each doll, and I have then in vintage Best Buy fashions, and...they're fine. I have multiples of the original dolls, and the repros are decent, but not amazing. I just have to not think of them as repros, but rather 'inspired by' dolls. They're fun from that standpoint. But I wouldn't necessarily want multiples of them.
