wiha speed E Electricians Review - Electrician Day in the Life. IN this video I give my honest electricians opinion on the speed e electric screwdriver form wiha. Anyone who spends much of the day fastening screws knows how much time it takes and the considerable strain it causes to wrists for long periods of time. With the world's first e-screwdriver speedE® by Wiha, such problems become a thing of the past once and for all. With the speedE®, you fasten screws twice as fast as with a conventional screwdriver and still have full control over the tightening force thanks to the material protection function. On reaching 0.4 Nm, power-assisted fastening switches off automatically to protect the material and users can finish fastening carefully by hand.
Thanks to its electric ratchet function and award-winning SoftFinish handle shape, the speedE® noticeably reduces strain on joints, tendons and muscles. It is recommended by German doctors and therapists at German Campaign for Healthier Backs for this very reason. The integrated LED light shines directly onto the screw and work piece that the user is working on. The e-screwdriver improves everyday efficiency, particularly due to its compact design. At least 800 screws can be fastened with its standard 18500 batteries when charged. It can also handle numerous different screw profiles when used in combination with Wiha slimBits. As a VDE- and IEC 60900-certified product, the e-screwdriver is approved for use on live parts up to 1,000 V AC and offers electricians full protection during their daily work.

Finally a video of an actual electrician using one of these! I had seen a fair few negative reviews but still thought it would be great, this has confirmed it. Thanks.

I bought one and am happy with the way it works EXCEPT for a battery powered driver it seems like it should run at a faster speed and IT DOES NOT ACCEPT 1/4" bits.

@@PlymouthSparky Thank you for the reply. Im using a bosch 12v screwdriver, it serves me well with its gearbox and low torque. But now that there's a speed-e 2 I might consider exchanging it.

I don't get what the point of it is. It's not quicker than doing it by hand and it has low torque, outside of electrical applications an impact driver is far superior and costs less...
@JaakkoF
@JaakkoF 5 жыл бұрын
It is much quicker than a normal screwdriver, just as shown on the video. The torque limit on it is just to drive the screw in, then you twist with your hand for final torque spec. It is meant only for electricians, as it is a VDE approved screwdriver.

This device is not to be compared to impact driver, that is a different tool class alltogether. This tool is to replace most of your normal manual screwdrivers that you screw by hand.
