mercy Rivera OOT was a great Zelda game, no doubt, but many of it's game mechanics are quite dated by todays standard. Most people are definitely speaking from a nostalgic perspective, and are not willing to admit that Twilight Princess, while it did many of the same things, perfected the formula and made it the most memorable Zelda to date.

@Retrosys10 жыл бұрын
I feel like you should do another video. Wario Land Shake It is not often talked about, and it's actually a very great game. I know it's technically a first party game (developed by a Good Feel, the same people who made Kirby: Epic Yarn), but when I worked at GameStop in 2008, it didn't sell at all. In fact, when my store closed in 2010, we still had many new copies left. I looked up sales numbers and was surprised to see that it sold 500,000 copies here in the US and 1.13 million worldwide, but no one ever talks about how great it is. I feel like Pandora's Tower didn't get much love either, and it is actually a very interesting and fun game.

There was an early Wii game called Blast Works that I think was sorely overlooked. A solid shmup with the tools to create your own ships, firing patterns, and even full stages with enemies. Couple of game suggestions; one a Wii ware title Lit a puzzle horror game by Wayforward. In it You play as Jake who is trying save his girlfriend when his school is covered in darkness and must traverse rooms by creating paths light to the exit and avoid be dragged into the shadows by the transformed students and faculty. Second is Deadly Creatures by THQ. In it you ply as a Tarantula and a Scorpion as they struggle to survive in the desert. In the back ground their is a story a treasure hunt and betrayal staring Billy Bob Thornton and Dennis Hopper.

Nexustji Many people didn't like the story. I actually enjoyed learning more about the backstory of Samus, since it has never really been covered in other games.
@kadencox64979 жыл бұрын
+Nexustji The game had some weird controls, restricted items/weapons to use only on certain events (which is bull because in other Metroid games, you have free access to all of them once you obtain them). Also within almost every cutscene, you couldn't skip, pause, or go to home menu if you wanted or needed to. (This many flaws only playing an hour into the game).

@andyvale246711 жыл бұрын
I've heard mixed reviews, what are your thoughts on it? It looked interesting.
@papsi8911 жыл бұрын
Personally I really liked it, it has kind of a dark atmosphere, since it takes place in a time where practically every human just disappears, and it seems like only this little boy (who is your main character), is left. It kind of has a survival horror type feel, but plays with an RPG style control, which I really liked, since I'm a big fan of survival horror games. However, the big thing for most players, would be that it is kind of a slow moving game, there's generally not a lot going on at any given time during the game, and sometime's you can get caught walking around just exploring at times. but for me that wasn't a problem, since I like exploring, and it kind of increased the horror feel to me. Another big thing, is depending on your play style, the game isn't really that difficult, after I started using the strategies I use for horror games, I kind of got through the game without a problem. Finally, the english voice acting is something that get's a lot of people, but that's to be expected from a japanese game. Personally i didn't really mind it, but yea, I would probably prefer the japanese voices. but I think it's a game worth giving a shot, it's definitely an enjoyable game once you get used to it.

@DunkyFuddha11 жыл бұрын
Here's why you should mention Opoona: it's one of the very few JRPGs made for the system, you can control the entire game with the Nunchuck if you wish (but it supports every control type), scored 31 by Famitsu, had its soundtrack released due to popular demand from the fans, and it was completely ignored because it was release on the same day as Super Mario Galaxy.

I bought Rhythm Heaven Fever the day it came out on the Wii. One of my absolute favorite Wii games.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves! I couldn't stop laughing at those absolutely absurd mini games.

If it's your cup of tea, the Midway Pinball Collection is a load of fun and one of my fave Wii games. It sadly doesn't have any of the classic licensed tables like Addams Family, Twilight Zone, or Doctor Who... but a healthy collection of their originals like Gorgar, Taxi, Funhouse, and Pinbot.

Just found another great Wii Hidden gem: Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. HIGHLY recomended, since while it has some flaws it's one of the few trully unique games on the Wii.

I know a very, very hidden gem of Wii, it's called Fragile Dreams. If you got a hacked wii you shuld give a shot to this game, is pretty fun, beautiful story, graphics in ''anime'' style and a very good soundtrack

+ZeoNix Why a hacked Wii? I agree with you about Fragile Dreams except for me it's just a normal region 1 game. And my Wii isn't hacked.

+Terarex92 Because finding this game in disk is very hard, or at least, I didn't find it in a few normal game stores, for that reason I played It in ISO format in my hacked Wii... did you find it in a game store?

+ZeoNix No, I found it on EBAY. I looked just now and you can get it new and sealed for $35.00 U.S. + shipping.
