Ok, you guys have fun doing this, who wouldn't? But actually, I just wanna say "THANK YOU!" for bringing back this childhood memory! I went to ebay and bought myself a N64 + Mario Cart! When I think of all the fun I had and will have I'm about to cry! :D

This was great to watch, alot of neck and neck finishes *(Spoiler) the way Bowser stole first from Mario on MooMoo farm, (/Spoiler)* that was seriously last second, I can't believe I was on the edge of my seat watching such a classic, awesome long play by both players, exciting and even funny video, along with some good memories. *nod* Thank you both! I know how you feel, all my friends play COD and stuff like that. I havent even used my 360 AT ALL in months. Everytime i go to the game store i always end up in the NES/SNES section... Im waiting for my n64... Should be coming today. So excited, that completes my collection for all the Nintendo systems (except wii, i dont really have an urge to get one)

Almost everything (except the track surface) is a 2D sprite, which uses very little memory and little gpu/cpu. Allows you to put more stuff on screen, and use higher color bit depth. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Good race between Mario and Schmid. I had my money on Mario wining and Schmid managed to pull ahead a few times when he was off to a bad start, but im glad i kept my money on mario since Schmid got wrecked in the 2nd circuit.

I have played the wii before and i think its pretty fun but since i have kinect im not really to interested in getting one just yet. I will probbably get the new "wii u" or whatever its called when the price drops but im gonna buy a genesis first and build up my game collection for that and N64... There is one thing I can't get straight. Nintendo 64 came out 1997 in europe, that is 16 years ago. And still.... Nintendo 64 did these amazing games with adventures lie Super mari 64, Legend of Zelda, donkey kong 64, Mario kart 64, Super smash bros. And many many more ( I dont know if Zelda is on gamecube at first)

Mario Kart 64 had a lot of bugs, didn't it? I mean, "Turbo Mode!" was a bug, aparantly the smaller characters had both the top acceleration AND the top speed, and the item system was flawed at best - Hell, you showed that you can get a star in about 2nd place in the first race you took! ... And the game was so much more awesome for it.

Oh man, this was one of my first games as well. And since it's from 1996, I've probably been playing it since I was 5 years old xD I still have my N64 and still play this game with my mom and niece sometimes! The game is so rigged, though xD When playing 150cc grand prix there's ALWAYS 2 characters that will keep catching up to you no matter WHAT you do :P
