11:18 - Funny story about that though - before the Blue Jays came around, Toronto's old baseball team was _also_ named the Maple Leafs; that team existed and played in various minor leagues from 1896 (meaning the baseball Leafs actually _predate_ the hockey team) until they relocated to Louisville in 1967. They technically still exist today, as the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Either the Mario Strikers series, or Super Mario Sluggers. Sports Mix wouldn't be bad either, but if we're being honest only Dodgeball is really worth playing: Basketball was already done better on the DS, Volleyball was underwhelming, and no one cared for Hockey.

Adam Rhodes I’m not certain where and when he said it, but I want to say that Jon isn’t that big a fan of Super Mario Baseball. Considering Sluggers is just that only with motion control and maybe some polished mechanics (never played it myself), might have a hard time convincing him to give it a go.

I remember, back when I was about five or so, going to a grandparent’s house and they had a little tabletop baseball game pretty similar to this one. It had a stadium with ramps to get home runs and a strip of magnets so you could throw different pitches, it was neat. This brought back some interesting memories, thanks for that.

Probably a minority opinion, but I love watching you guys play sports related games and occasionally talk about sports. Over the years Chugga has slowly showed more knowledge on sports, NCS is actually a solid Detroit fan (still remember him taking a picture of a toilet seat to compared to the Chicago Bears logo) and Jon during his streams actually talks hockey occasionally like when Vegas got their team. As a huge sports fan and in turn a big gamer, it's just a neat thing to hear/see.

1:10 Are these also sold separately new, or are they only available through Wii Party U/used? 4:40 The top-down perspective was really cool, seeing the slopes in the Foosball field so you can get a good idea of where and how the ball is going to roll at any time. 5:47 Reminds me of Wario Land 4’s Home Run Derby only more complex. 8:14 Even the sound effects sound like one of those at-home video poker-type games. 11:27 I wonder if they let the “Home” team still play the last inning if the “Away” team doesn’t beat the “Home” Team’s score at the top of said inning in this version. 23:24 Alternatively, Emile could’ve gone down the middle of the road and take the first head Jon took back. Score would’ve been 5-3 so the end result would be the same, but at least Emile would have taken Jon down a peg for what that’s worth. And even then if the sumo minigame isn’t guaranteed to come up (which is what it looks like given the ratings after the game), then it’s not really a shortcoming for this mode specifically. Guessing there’s only a couple of parts left to this LP. Maybe one more for the minigames or if Tabletop Mode doesn’t wrap up next part.

Seeing as this was recorded months in advance, I'm honestly wondering which game the Jays and Braves played at the time. I don't know if they were actually at Truist Park (known as SunTrust Park at the time of recording because the naming rights hadn't gone to Truist at the time) when the Jays were in town (I assume it was an Atlanta home game but maybe it was a Jays home game at Rogers Centre?), but I'm honestly curious as to what the heck caused the benches to empty that game. Was someone getting hit by pitches more than usual or something that game? EDIT: So it may have been a Jays-Braves game at Truist Park (then known as SunTrust Park) on May 17, 2017 (Jose Bautista was still with the Jays at the time). I was watching a recap of that game because it was the first thing that came up when I searched up Blue Jays-Braves games from around 2017, and apparently during the middle of the 7th inning, the Blue Jays batter who had struck out as the third out of the top of the 7th said something at the opposing pitcher and got thrown out presumably because of what he said. The benches cleared, and yes, so did the bullpens (happens every time). Didn't look physical, but there was at least one ejection as a result. However, during the top of the 8th inning, Bautista smacked a solo home run making the score 8-4 Atlanta. Bautista was heckled as he was making his rounds around the bases, and then he had some words with the catcher Kurt Suzuki (on Atlanta at the time, was with the Nationals in 2019 and is now with the Angels), causing the benches to clear again. I don't know if the Atlanta first baseman (this guy named Peterson, he was originally at third base but replaced Freddie Freeman (who's been with the Dodgers since this year but was with Atlanta from the year he was drafted up until last year), their usual first baseman at the time, because he got hit by a pitch on his hand in the bottom of the 5th inning and was taken out of the game early as a result) didn't like something Bautista did after he got the home run, whether it was his bat flip or what not, but that day, the benches cleared twice near the end of the game but thankfully neither incident got physical and while there was at least one ejection, they were resolved eventually. Wow, I rambled a lot, but I wanted to get as many details down as I could so that anyone interested could know what happened that day. I hope I explained as much of it as I could well enough.
