It might very well be just us! I'm with you, though. "Ten Summoner's Tales" and "Dream of the Blue Turtles" are definitely my favorite Sting solo albums. If you haven't heard it yet, you've gotta check out his "Demolition Man" EP from 1993. He rerecorded the Police song for a movie of the same name, but then included a handful of live tracks from the "Summoner's" tour, including "It's Probably Me" and "Love is Stronger Than Justice," along with a cover of The Beatles' "A Day in the Life." It's a real hidden gem! :)

While the similarities are fairly obvious, Moonbase Escape is all about going fast, while Hedge Honchos (that particular Mario Party DS minigame) will screw you over if you rush forward blindly.

Nice-Guy Hunter Agreed. Like the worst thing I found about it was the fact that Sherm’s turret was so sensitive (kinda wish there was button that allowed you to lock the turret in place while held). Otherwise, it was very responsive. Maybe Jon had problems because of that issue with the metal piece in the earlier joy-cons that caused connection issues.

NoirCore That’s fair, although advanced techniques exclusive to motion control aren’t required for most challenges (save for the ones that require attacking like with Cheep-Cheeps). Never had the issue with the dive as I use button inputs for that (only thing is I’m still working on the timing for pulling off the cap jump more reliably). I’ll be interested to hear what Jon has to say on the issue on tonight’s stream as I’m sure he’ll be asked that by the chat if he doesn’t preempt them.

I don't actually have a problem with motion controls in of itself. It just depends how good or bad they're implemented. It's one of the reasons why I'm decent with Splatoon compared to a few other shootings games I've played. Any game of that genre that involves me using a stick to aim with I will automatically suck at. Besides, the motion controls in Odyssey are not bad, and they're pretty much optional. Even if they have more advanced moves, they're really not required.

The only situations I run into with bad motion controls in Odyssey is to make super complex combo jumps, like instead of diving, you groundpound. Besides, it was intended for motion controls to function more than button presses in the first place, and it definitely isn't unplayable unlike Wii games! So I'm glad that they have been going in the right direction :3
